Hey AA...

Just wanted to chime in and let you know that I've been very impressed with your original creations for some time now.  After petitioning for years for more repect be given to the originals... it puts a smile on my face to see them taking center place now. 

And few have equaled both the quality of your skins and the quality of the characters themselves.

Been working the past couple months re-building NPI from scratch. Hopeful to have something to show pretty soon in fact... including new stuff and collaborations from myself.

First I updated Afghan Ant's scarf. I wanted something a little more ethnic for his rebel look.

Inspired by a picture of bright pink cricket, this is possibly Carlo Cricket's future or even possibly another superorganism like the Catastrophe Bug. If the latter turns out to be true he will be called something Insect. I'm not sure. This is one of the few times I did a design and didn't know who it was. Oh he is physically based on Jeffree Star (who I think is sort of untalented) but I do like the makeup he wears in a weird sort of way. I wanted to do something different and when I started this I thought well the Cat Bug is scary because he is dark and menacing because he knows the darkest parts of the best people but this was going to be scary because you don't understand right away but before you reject it, it attacks you (if any of that makes sense).

Your skins are amazing as usual, but what I really am liking is the whole story behind your universe. It would be cool to see that is carlo cricket with the Catastrophe Bug or something like it and afghan ant having to take him down.

Skope wise, something about Afghan Ant's scarf/bandanna looks kind of odd. Maybe its the placement or something. I don't know.

That's some top-notch, amazing stuff you are doing there AA.
I'm generally pretty unimaginative and stick to the 'big name' comic book characters, but the sheer creativity and artistry present in the current wave of Original characters is such that I can't help but be interested.

i know this is probably a stupid question but are all or most of your charact. insect based.you said you didnt have a name for the new character so i was going to come up with a few names.looking for the theme.

Actually I think you are right. I could be that it was for a male_heavy mesh with a very big neck and chest and now it is on a male_basic. After looking at it I might just release the updated AA with the new detailing and layer adjusted for proper in-game lighting.

Not all of my characters are insect-based (and even those that are are rarely indirectly based on insect but rather the idea of the insect) but yes, this character is in fact a Hiveworld character.

Your newest fella looks so glam rock. I friggin' love it. The earrings seem to be too highly placed, though, if they are suppose to be coming off his earlobes, at least.

OMG HIM! You are right. That thought didn't come into my head when I skinning but there is something that echoes his design.

It is weird because I have a design and story mapped out but then I changed everything. So now I have like four designs for your HIVE av and need to decide on one and completely finish skinning it.
