i know.
i though they DID look like waves. truth is the way the mesh is set up means the exact design on the AV is not really able to be reproduced. still i'll give it another try.

need to highlight hair and fit mask skin to mask mesh. then i'll add a reflect layer cos he looks odd being matte when his board is so shiny...
