So Car and I have started collabing on a collection of Nazi scum, so 'eres one of my own additions to our collab - Herr Gummiband (English trans: Mr. Elastic).

The 360

More to come and check out Car's Nazi's 'ere!

I guess i have to take SOME of the blame, but i continue to maintain the true responsibility for all this rests on the shoulders of that dead guy over there....
so im gonna be a cheap S.O.B this late at night and just post what i PMed DJ...

ah i'm so jealous! Gummiband is the perfect bland of GA costume and military dress, excellent work! i especially like the red gloves and the half band around his midsection, great designs
nice work on the hair too, and his face. i like the grimmer, less grimacing face. makes him look very serious.
so yeah, top stuff DJ, i might have to work a more military design into my upcoming skins.

Hey...ye were the one that wanted to continue the Nazi theme but okay..it's all my fault!  As for working military designs into ye upcoming skins, mon ami, I say don't think ye really need to..ye stuff looks perfect as is!

now we need a super bulk nazi guy or some nazi guy using eletric/thunder power

Dr.Volt

These nazis are all rockin'!  I especially the shield slinger!  I'll be keeping my eye out for them.

UnkoMan

Though I like Car's skins... I must say I prefer yours. Why? The simple fact is the costumes. These ones are much more uniform looking. I love that in my Nazi villains. But like Car pointed out they've got enough of the costume blend in there too. So, yeah, I love it.

BatWing

quick question is he a general or one of a super soldier that the nazis are developing and use them to take over usa but fr avatar heroes will stop them?

Ha ha, told you so, DJ :). I agree with Unko, the military uniform look definitely makes them look like they fit the era more than spandex. Keep'em coming DJ and i'll do the same.

Well...those are already on our list of things to do...along with quite a few other archetypes.

Actually the shoulder boards are those of a NCO instead of a Commisioned Officer like a General.

I did Shocktrooper for the last Artistic Challenge. The theme was "evolution", so he evolved into Storm Trooper. If the Soldier2 mesh didn't have the gun and had different animations, it would be perfect for that (the gasmask can be handled or perhaps scoped on).

In my Champions campaign, I had Nazi Ninjas with super speed (super-types laugh at shuriken unless they are moving at mach 3).

I should really start scrolling through the skin section more often. I love the design on Herr Gummiband, the only thing I might add is some red to the boots (but not too much) it would tie the whole costume meeting ss uniform closer together.

I had originally tried something very similiar on an earlier version of this skin but it made the red on the pants then looked like it just kinda ran together with the boots.  I still might go back and consider slapping some read on it.  Also the uniform is not an SS Uniform it's actually based off of the Wehrmacht Panzer uniform (the eagle being on the chest section gives it away as Wehrmacht.  SS uniforms usually have the eagle on the arm instead) with a few additions here and there.  A bit of history there but it really doesn't matter at all.

Sledgehammer

This looks like a very well-thought work, really. You can tell there has been a previous process of thinking how to create a team in which each member compliments each other quite well in battle. And then, a process of trying to come up with something new, different, while maintaining the traditional archetypes.

Herr Gummiband looks amazing. And I can actually picture him as a FFv3R Blitzkrieg ally...

Deaths Jester

The Nazi Bruiser, die Faust ("The Fist"), of our growing team.  More coming soon, I promise!

Carravaggio

Three main things I love about theis skin DJ:
The face" perfect has that weathered, hardass look, like the guy has seen more than a few conflicts. He is not handsome eiether, he looks very real in that regard.
The hair, slightly receding, slightly hitler-esque, limp and antiquated
the costume: Looks like a german soldier lined up a bareknuckle fight, shed his uniform shirt and got down to business. Meanwhile the cuffed boots and chest symbol scream costumed superhuman. I think you have a perfect blend of uniform, real clothes adn hero costume here.
Top stuff, as always mate!

Meet the newest member of the Car/DJ Nazi team...our telepath, Geistesblitz (English trans: Brainwave)

More to come...believe me...there really are more!

Lunarman

Nice work, as always. Do you think you could post some higher res/less blurred photos so we can really soak in all the detail :)

Awesome eyes she's got there

Spring Heeled Jack

Hey, if it's not too late you can add in the Brown Shirt that FigureFan and I created a few years ago. You'd have to ask him about where to get the skin, though.

I hope you know that this is a family-friendly forum, sir! :P

Nice work, DJ!  I like what you've done with the swastika fastener/brooch on the cape.  Top shelf! :)

Deaths Jester

The Man in the Can character for the collab between myself and Car, now in two versions....Der Panzermenschlich (English trans: The Human Tank).

Fancy photo

Brand spanking clean version 360

Battle worn and grimy version 360

For those wondering, where's the refl...well there isn't any.  The reason is that I based this character concept off of an actual German Panzer.  Historically most of the German Panzers were painted with a non-reflective paint when they left the manufactuerer, so that the shine of the metal didn't give away the tanks position from either the air or the ground.  Thus no refl.

Major thanks to Tommyboy and Grenadier for the pieces I used to 'Skope this together.  Without them this character would've never seen the light of day.  And now off to create more Nazis!!

detourne_me

Wow!
well done.
this is probably the most innovative Nazi villain design I've seen in a looong time! The panzer was such a powerful weapon that its a shame it isn't really used enough.  i can think of i think two other ewxamples , a teen titans villain (i think) and one of the scientists from The Forty-Niners.

im really looking forward to this playing with this guy.

Ahhh...Herr Panzer from The Forty-Niners.  The one character that all ye ever got to see of him was his feet and his remains from what Die Eisen Maske and Gromolko did to him.  I wish they had played that character up more than they did.  And i agree...Panzers should be used more often for Nazi characters, along with the Stuka and the Nebelwerfer/V1s...they all were some much of what the Nazi offensive was about.
