New video card problems

My old video card died over the weekend so I got a new one today.  When the game is loading up everything looks fine.  When the scrolling startup screen for the game comes up it looks fine.  When I go to the character selection screen everything looks fine.  When an actual mission starts up everything is transparent or a blob of colored squares and the characters themselves are somewhat shiney and highly transparent.  Since the older posts are out of action at the moment I was hoping someone could offer some suggestions on a remedy.  I have the latest drivers for the card, a GeForce 6200.  It's something about the engine of the game I'm guessing because I can play the Sims2 just fine without graphics glitches.  Does anyone have a list of the video cards that are supposed to work with the game?  The Irrational site doesn't list them like I thought it use to.  Thanks for any input.

I have the exact same problem .CAnt seem to get an answer for it either :(
