Those all look great Carravaggio.

Is that the Cap belt and pouches you're using?

I really like the way this team is turning out. Though I question the use of the futuristic looking Johnny Quick opposed to a more period mesh such as Bulleteer? Either way great designs and I really like the archer and the ringbearer.
The Ringbearer is my favourite thus far, to play withas well, lots of TK and knockback effects, it really suits his arrogance countenance.
Good point about the mesh choice. I am a little concerned that DJ's skins suit the theme moreso than mine. His really have that WW2 era feel about them, whereas i think mine, for the most part, look like a modern Nazi superhuman resurgence (not that the heroes of FR would ever allow such a thing). I skoped the Rocketteer mesh onto Tommyboy's new Flash keyframes and it looks great, but i am concerned that I might not be able to do a cloth/uniform costume justice, spandex is really my forte. I guess ill give it a go, see how it looks. Also i would have to check to see if I could have permission to release a skoped Rocketeer mesh (although in a crunch Tommyboy_versatile would really do the same job...)

And the best thing of all, is that I wish this team had been together fighting against Alchemiss and company in FFv3R. I can picture them as Blitzkrieg's gang, much like Magneto's Brotherhood or Mr. Sinister's Marauders. Would have been a hell of a battle.

Thats the idea, pal  ^_^ Ideally i would like to put together an EZScript mod where Blitzkrieg returns to attack FF again, this time with this contingent of Nazi superhumans in tow, his logic, fight fire with fire, to defeat superheroes you need supervillains.

You should call the group `ubbermech`, not sure for spelling though, it means something like supermen in German.
Yeah, I guess we do need to t hink of a name for the group. DJ has the better german knowledge than I (mine's restricted to dialogue fro Hogan's Heroes). We'll have to brainstorm a name soon. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cool Nazi Meshes Carravaggio!  Nice details on their costumes! My favourite is the Nazi Archer. I also like your avatar! The way he floats and the stars effects is awesome! :o

My Avatar will be released this week, re-skoped with sparkles etc. In a way im glad i lost the first one cos I was able to do another version that actually turned out better. Keep an eye out for it. And, hey, you spelt my name right...When this world kneels before The Tyrant Star, you, I shall spare...

Sure is! Ren has provided some of the greatest meshes out there to this community and they come with some unique parts that really enhance other themed meshes. (Thanks again REN!)

Next Nazi: The Beast! Think Marvel's Wildchild, but when you get him angry, think Sabretooth!  A Lycanthropic shapeshifter with multiple forms, man beast, beast man, and plain old BEAST! Between his healing factor, enhanced reflexes and razor sharp claws, you guys will be in for one heck of a fight!

bat1987

OMG!!!!
You`re releasing your avatar!
Can`t wait

YoungHeros

can you release a hero file with him??

Carravaggio

I could...and will.
Just don't cry HAXX! when you see it. This guy is silver age cosmic badness, I make no apologies for it :). It took Captain America, iron man and Thor to take down a depowered version of him. This was me controlling the three heroes while the computer failed to use my avatar's best powers. I then played the fight the other way round, me vs the heroes.
took about 12 secs to beat them.
Edit: i'll add it took me over half an hour to beat my Av with the three heroes, and that was only cos i hadn't finished his custom FFX powers, ergo he was depowered to an extent.

YoungHeros

i like that ^_^

Edit: A pretty long battle :D

Come on now, mon ami.  Ye skins suit the theme perfectly...I mean, the middle and later GA heroes/villians wore quite a bit of spandex (just ake Captain America, Superman, and Batman).  I'm beginning to think ye just like being hard on ye self. I mean, other than the Johnny Quick based skin (which if ye give me some time I think I might be able to ferret out some mesh pieces that would allow ye to take it back to that original idea we talked about) the rest fit the theme wonderful especially the archer, winged warrior and ring bearer.  I say stay with what ye know best...if it's spandex, use it...that way we have a wide range of looks then instead of just bland pulp-esque stuff like mine.

Okay I went dig through the meshes and unhappily the piece I was looking for is one one of Fusion's meshes...thus knocking out the potential for 'Skoping it.  Rrrr.....

BentonGrey

I'm loving these guys Car!  I'll try and brainstorm some names as well.  Ohh, and your inbox is full, I'm tryin' to send you a PM but I can't! :P

Carravaggio

DJ: I've been messing around with some older style pulp meshes, check ur PM soon for a preview

BG: Cleared out a lot of space from the Inbox, feel free to shoot any names my way, you'll get credited with anything we choose to use.

BTW, if all you guys and gals havent seen DJ's new nazi 'iron man' head over to his skins thread and do your eyes a favour, its nifty keen...or at least as nifty keen as an extremist fascist in a technologically advanced suit of power armour can get!

Wow. If this becomes true, it would be FAN-tastic!

Quick update for Doc Volt! I'll fix the pink features before release. Not sold on the external mesh (male_heavy) i'd like one that fits a bit better.
Ideas anyone?

BentonGrey

Ohh, cool effect with the layering meshes.

Dr.Volt

Hey Carr!

Believer is looking fantastic!!!  I agree with Benton, the layered look works very nicely!  I like that the force field is very solid looking and substantial.  It looks impenetrable!!!  And yet, it doesn't obscure Believer at all (his costume and what not).  Y'know, I don't think the force field looks too big.  Course, I haven't seen it relative to other objects in the game yet.

Oh, I like his hair...like him as a blond guy.  You definitely need to keep the "soul strip" on his chin as well!  Sweetness!  And I've always like his costume.  Simple but striking.

Carr, this is one of my favorite character concepts that you've had.  I'm excited that he is finally coming to light!     Can't wait till he gets released!

Great stuff!

Carravaggio

Mastermind/mindreader
EEEEEEVIL mind controlling type guy, will probably use a lot of blitzkrieg's powers in game. Costume is WIP and i want to make my own textures for the eye of the reich part of the mesh rather than pilfer Irrational's.
Saw Style and GGiant using a lot of irrational meshes in interesting ways, and this idea popped into my head. Took a bit of mucking about with alphas to make it work, and the brain still doesnt always display properly. Ill keep at it tho.

GGiant

First the awesome skope now the awesome skin.
:faint

The logo for my new google pages site.
Since NPI seems to be gone for good (RIP) i decided to bite the bullet and throw together a webpage on which people can download my stuff, as yahoo groups look ugly and really bother me.
Because i am loathe to distribute anything that is unfinished its still a while off before this is done, but i thought i'd show you guys a lil something of whats on the way...I got most of my ideas on layout from AA's page, so if you dont like his you'll HATE mine

Also to come is a page where DJ and i will co-host our Nazi skins. Thats closer to completion that my own page, but it will likely not be finished or go live until all the skins are complete.

Outcast

Nice logo Carravaggio! Always good to hear new websites/pages dedicated to the game Freedom Force.

Is this NPI , the New Power Insider? located here? http://newpowerinc.com/insider/index.htm

If it is, it doesn't seem down to me at least, i'm not sure.. I could still see your skins there.

Shazam

Dude! Nice skins.
Do me a favour and empty your inbox, I've been trying to send you a PM, lol

Hey Car,

Can you copy the eye from the emerald_empress_t mesh and transfer it to this mesh.
Then can you delete the weapon node in your base mesh not the weapon on the eye but on the base mesh so that the beams go out of the eye. That would be cool. ^_^
I wish I had FFvtr. :banghead:

Carravaggio

GGiant:Thanks for that heads up mate, i'll definitely have a look into this, it sounds like just the thing to top off the character!

Outcast: Yeah NPI is still up, per se, but its inactive adn unable to be updated. As such i have decided to take my newer skins to a new home. My heart will always belong to NPI and if it ever starts up again ill be the first one in the door, but right now that seems like a slim possibility.

Shazam: Done and done, buddy. its good to see you still kickin' round these here parts!

Another banner, this time for the bad guys...

GGiant

Hey Car, Is your site gonna be all about nazis or other stuff as well?

HumanTon

Sounds great--I'm looking forward to the new site!

Carravaggio

The current plan is to house my stuff on my new page and link it to ANOTHER googlepages site made by DJ and myself to house all the nazi stuff we are collaborating on. i dont want to get any facist on my heroes, y'understand... :P

BentonGrey

...says the man who's avatar is a galaxy conquering superbeing.... ^_^

the_ultimate_evil

great news carra, the main batch of skinners really need to try and sort out host sites.
