Another bad guy WIP, early days yet, but I think its a cool use of the Hellboy mesh...

Podmark

Car I just love your skoping work so much.

UnkoMan

You could even keep the horns... make em goggles!

C4

Heh. Powerfist is fun. I like him.

Outcast

Reminds of a Masters of the Universe character,Fisto. :P

catastrophe

Oh he looks sweet, cant wait until the finishing product!

Xenolith

Thats a pretty cool idea, Unko.  Hmm...   :P

Dr.Volt

Oh yeah!  Carr's cranking up the skinning machine. Rock on, man!!

"Wow, Carravaggio,' you say, eyes agog. "Normally I'm a fan or your ideas. They are fresh takes on the superhero genre, coupled with a keen eye for design and colour, and yet you are humble, dashing, handsome...uh, wait I'm getting off topic...But this character, his name...it's a bit-um...lame?"

"Why sure it is, friend. It was my favourite original villain when I was but a tot, essentially an evil Superman who looked far more alien than ol' Kal-El. In memory of that long forgotten universe I made while struggling with basic anatomy (and long division :p ), I decided to keep the moniker...The Atomic Alien lives on!"

This guy was the evil SOB that plagued my own hero many a year ago. While working on some unrelated skopes I came upon the idea of plonking the alien body onto a Superman mesh. I hope to reskin the face, as much as I like the Irrational offering, my own is aiming to look a whole lot more alien.

Hope you all enjoy  ^_^

EDIT
Modified nif and skin, made some changes in the colour scheme to make him look more alien and more like a bad guy.

Carravaggio

Forgot I had finished this one...
As if COH isn't enough of a distraction, now I feel compelled to make my favourite originals from there as well.

A British government agent who was part of a superhuman control and observation agency, the man who would become The Establishment was mortally wounded in a battle between two super powered factions. Preservation in experimental cryogenics left him with the ability to drastically lower the temperature of the environment around him. Still believing heavily that superhumans need to be controlled and made accountable for their actions, he continues his observation of if the superhuman community from within, as the frost-wielding ice man; The Establishment!

And here I was thinking you took spud and mixed him with dominion.

Looks nice, sir. The second skin looks a bit odd to me face wise. Specifically the nose area and the eyebrows, but I don't know if that was intended or not.

Blkcasanova247

Hey Carr...beautiful skins! One thing though for "Atomic Alien"....maybe give him some sort of collar or neck piece...I think it'd make him "flow" better.

I was thinking something similar for Atomic Alien......the neck seems to stick out as kind of scrawny in relation to the body.  Could it be beefed up, even to normal proportions (doesn't have to be muscular)?

Carravaggio

The mauling man-beast; Feryl!

Ditched the belt, I think it makes him look sleeker and solidifies the 'one-piece' costume that hearkens to old-school wrestlers.

Thanks for the other previous suggestions, gang, I've taken them into consideration :)

Also, thanks to the wonders of Nifskope, Thunderfist now appears as he was always meant to, wreathed in a field of bio-electricity

Shazam

You have been a busy boy haven't you?
As always Carr nice work, very nice. Looks like you're a master of the skope as well as the skin  ;)

AfghanAnt

I really like the work you've been doing on these skopes.

Finally found a design I really liked. Thanks to Renegade for his awesome Canadian Shield mesh

teaser pic for the French Team- Left to right;

Premier (Maiden)
Daughter of Captain France, and a photomancer; she can shift and create light. Dislikes being a hero, plans to retire when her father does.

Le Bouclier (The Shield)
Shield-wielding peak human hero, the second to use the name.

Capitaine France
The premier hero of France. Helped repel the Nazis in WW2, a living legend.

L'Héritier (The Inheritor)
Son of Captain France, reluctant heir to his title. Has all his father's powers to a lesser degree.

Vainquez (Vanquish)
Energy-wielding hero, formerly of the Private Australian territories, he has returned to his native country at the request of the government.

Lunarman

Awesome, absolutely awesome!

I can't wait to see the last member of the team, the rest are looking sharp :)

bat1987

AfghanAnt

I like them a lot but why did you use two different shades of blue.

Carravaggio

The heroes with the darker blue are the leaders/veterans. While they retain some costume elements with the lighter blue, the dark blue denotes seniority. Hope to have the last team member done by the weekend.

miguelyanke

love all 'em.... if you decide creating a spanish team, make me know it!

^_^

Aly Cat

Carr-Carr-Carr.....LOVE the current stuff & I'm glad to see our Russian project still exists in some part; been away a while but back now; not sure about skinning as my stuff never seemed to be what the masses wanted  :P . Looks like the NPI Forum is gone, but I guess it was inevitable. Keep that mouse moving!

A Spanish superteam, eh? Thats sounds interesting...

Some face work, going for a bit of swashbuckler/Clark Gable here.

Hey Aly, thanks for checking in :) Yeah the Russians are still around, and that got me working on other nations super teams. Hope to see you skinning in some capacity sometime soon, none of us 'originals' were exactly what the masses wanted, but there is plenty of board space for all of us these days.
