DC Request Thread

   I know Bentongrey has the DC mod project going on, as such, I know that there are a few of us that are trying to help out by watching the Request Threads to pitch in when needed.
   But I know that there are also a few other DC request threads floating around as well, and those of us that can, like to pitch in there as well.  What I was thinking, was that possibly we could condense these threads so that it's not only easier to keep track of, and expand on the characters that are getting done, but also to maybe help the DC mod broaden a little more.

Thoughts, imputs?

Sounds like a great idea, I'll go through my files, see what else needs doing.  I'll also cross post my outstanding requests here, and continue to post in this thread.

As I've said in my mod folder, I'm quite open to suggestions about characters to include, so feel free to make suggestions, just check that thread to make sure I don't already have them!

:EDIT: This is the only outstanding request, I believe.  The Key, Robot man, and Cheeta are all in KS's capable hands.

Alrighty guys, I've just come across something that made me really excited!  If found some cool Aquaman villains that I hadn't heard of before!  These guys are specially engineered parademons from apokolips who have been trained in underwater combat.  I give you: The Deep Six!

I can't find close ups of the other three, but the first pick is pretty clear.

I think a skoped version of Jugger_Grimrod would be perfect for Gole, while the Mantis mesh might work for Jaffar.  Probably something from a TV can be worked out for Trok, and Slig and Shaligo could both be hexed out of Tommy's Parademon_TV....I think.  Kurin....I'm thinkin' he might be do-able out of a TV as well.

Hey guys I am deffinately in, I have been brain storming hexes of the Turtleman, Calanderman, Calculator, Time commander, Golden Glider and several others. I also am finishing a skin for the Pied Piper. As well as volunteering for the Deep Six. Maybe we should start with a family concept. Like maybe doing Barry the Flash Allen's enemies and friends. Then say maybe some Atom or whatever character family. Then we could maybe knock some out systematically. I've done a few Aquaman characters. But with nifscope now I think I could actually do the Terrible Three and some of the other Aquaman enemies that seemed out of reach before. Well any way I'll be doing some skinning on Wednesday. So hopefully I'll have some new releases then.

That sounds fairly logical.   Then with each group that gets more or less finished, there could be another update to the mod?

Hey guys.  I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but my "getting up to date thread" in the requests has a list I've been updating as the first post for characters that are on current teams that haven't been done, or need updating to very different costumes.

Yeah, I was just thinking that it would be easier if there was one thread for DC characters and another thread for Marvel characters that could be added to Death's Mod. Or even if someone just wants the characters for personal use.

Just to be clear, I'm not putting the newest costumes into my mod, unless they happen to be a ridiculous improvement.  Mine is mostly classic style.  I think KS is on to something, as far as updates to the mod...haha, y'all are determined to give me more work, huh?  Well, considering the pace that these things usually come at, I suppose I can manage it.

Hey Bent, I was actually thinking of doing Oberon. I have some skins and hexes of the Forever People. But not sure who did them? Mantis I am sure I could whip up a skin as soon as I get some time. Which has been in short supply lately.

Cool KS, glad we're working on the same wavelength here.  Would you mind sending those Forever People my way?  (If anyone knows who did them, I'd like to know so I can give credit!)  No worries about the time, my friend, I'm in no hurry.  My own time is more limited by work lately, so I'm making slow progress on the voices, and the final release can't happen without them!

I'm alive and kicking. Here is a preview of a 70% finished Robotman for the DCU Mod. Oberon is next on my list.
Let me know if Robotman is cool by you. Just need to finish the skin up.

Hey KS, glad to see you up and about again, feeling better?  Yeah, that Robotman looks fine, if you can finish him by, ohh, around 5:00 tonight, then send him over.  If not, just send me the hex so I can set him up, and we'll just include the completed skin in the beta. ^_^

Well here's a quick look at the progress of Oberon. He is on a male_dwarf mesh with gloves, skirt, and boots courtesy of Tommyboy. I ma adding a belt and square buckle. The hardest part is I wanted to give him some hair and can't get anything to look right. Any ideas out there? Well anyway I am off to try some more.
