Sorry about that, I really haven't had any time to work on them until tonight/tomorrow.  I did do some prelim research on some of them on Monday, though.

Mera was a little more difficult to get any decent shots of than I had thought.  The image you posted of Per Degaton was a cover from the story arc I was planning on getting a shot from!  :lol:

How much of their body do you want in the portrait?  Full body?  Head-to-collar bone (like the IG ones)?  A little lower?  Do you want blank, colored backgrounds, or do you want whatever they're surroundings are? (Mera would tend to have water, or Atlantean architecture, for example)

I'm not familiar enough with Steel's JLU look, but I do know that pretty much every appearance I have of him has the big "S" on the chest, which your ref. picture does not.  If I don't go too far down the chest, it shouldn't be an issue, though.

Do you want the scarred side of Harvey to be that kind of grey from BTAS, or the classic green?

If I think of some other details I'm not sure on, I'll let ya know.  ^_^

Hey man, no problem, I know how my memory is, so I wanted to keep it where I wouldn't forget about it! 

Mera, yeah, she's not real prevelent.  I generally like mine lower than the IG ones, something like a bust, sometimes going down to the waist, to give a really nice idea of the character. 

Backgrounds, I like it to come from the comics, so backgrounds are pretty flexible, but don't worry about editing them out or anything. 

Steel's original look should be fine, but if you can find anything close to the JLU look, riveted head and all, that'd be cool. 

I'd love a gray Harvey, a-la TAS, but I also know that may not be possible.

Ok, here's some preliminary scans.  The only thing I've done to any of them so far is rotate some of them so they're all right-side up.  Obviously there'll be cropping done, as well as color & contrast adjustments made for the older pics.  Take a look through 'em, & let me know if you think they'll work, or in the case of Hawkgirl, if there's one in particular you like best.

In a perfect world, I'd use the first Hawkgirl pic as the portrait, but it'll take a little work to get it clean enough.  I'll rotate Mera so she's mostly upright for the portrait.  Also, any objections to me using the image of Garth you linked to for the portrait?  It's a pretty good shot, and I don't think I have anything better.

Thanks PG!  Okay, for Hawkgirl, even though I like the cleaner lines of the first couple, I think I'd go with either 4 or 5, probably 5.  Also, what comic are 3-5 from?  It looks cool, and it's sorta' given me some ideas for a GA/Hawkgirl Brave and Bold.

That Steel is cool, but he sorta' has a weird look on his face.  It'll work, I suppose.

Tempest, no not at all, I have no problem with you using any of the comic images I linked to, with the possible exception of Manta, as I'd like one where his helmet wasn't QUITE that gi-normous.

Okay, a couple of questions:  1, there were some extra skins for the civilian boy mesh, does anyone know where they are?  (This is just a bit of random curiosity)  2. I've been thinking a little about trying to add Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters into the DCU, does anyone know if they've been done?  If not, I probably won't bother with it.

Hey man, thanks, but I don't think I'm going to include the Freedom Fighters.  I'm pretty burnt out on adding characters right now, so I think if I did, they wouldn't get a fair shake.

I do have a new request of sorts, however.  I need a set of skins, something that already exists would be great, for a female character.  One needs to be blond with normal human skin tone, the other icy blueish white, like Mr. Freeze.  This is for a civilian-esque character, so something that's not in a costume would be good.  Even just a skin for Civilian_Female would work fine.  Can anyone help me out?

Hey detourne_me I thought I had a Killer Frost as well, but I did a search on my computer and didnt come up with anything except for a Taskmaster hero file for that character, so you might wanna check with him to see what version of that character he has.

I guess it's a good thing I still have a few issues of All Star Squadron.  ;)

However, I *might* have to use your posted pic for Mr. Terrific, as he wasn't in *any* of those, and the only thing I've got him in is the JLA issue where he gets killed.  Might not be able to find anything workable in that.

For Mr. Pratt, which costume, exactly, did you want?

Good question PG, as I couldn't find any pics of the one I want.  I'd like a picture of him in the costume with the face covering mask/cape combo.  The one where there isn't a mouth opening.  If you can't find one like that, I'll take whatever you can get. ^_^

I wouldn't go with FF WWII villains Fortissimo and Red Sun... However, since we are talking about All-Star Squadron, you could go with Baron Blitzkrieg. DC's Baron, that is. Just please please please use a redesign, because his costume is just about the worst thing ever.

It mentions a character called Sumo, also. I have an issue with this guy... he's ridiculous. Forget Sumo. They probably made up some other guys, and Young All-Stars had some, too. Maybe you could find somebody interesting.

I assume you have Per Degaton and Vandal Savage. Both can be used in WWII times. And how about the Ultra-Humanite from back when he was an evil scientist, OR when he was in the body of a beautiful woman? Or both! Man, that's sort of super creepy. Of course then he went to a giant albino gorilla in bondage gear, so whatever. Also there's fellas like The Mist or Ragdoll, who passed their mantle, and whom you could use the old versions.

Then there's Captain Nazi. He's the Captain Marvel to Blitzkrieg's Superman. You could also steal some Freedom Fighters villains... if they even have any of interest.

There are probably a ton of other guys that nobody really cares about... The Gambler for instance, but they aren't so exciting. I'd say, if you do comics set in WWII, and you have golden age feeling villains who you aren't really going to use in your modern timeline, just toss them back.
