I like Jonn, he looks great even without reflection ennabled.. I could touch up the skin (texture) so that where th arms poke through, it will be the same color as the cape, to make them undetectable. 

But playing him in the Rumble Room, I didn't get the "feel" for his character.  What I really want him to use is phasing attacks, to stun enemies or do mental damage (something not a lot of foes have protection against.)  Could you give him maybe the Microwave animations for a melee move?  Maybe a sneak attack where he submerges underground and comes up behind the enemy to strike them?  Also some Mentor attacks for his psychic abilities?  I like what IPS suggested, using the semi-transparent effect for his dodge (which Renegade did a superb job of) but of course, that would double the poly count.  I wish there was some way to hard-code the transparent look into the game itself.  Exiled characters turn transparent for their exiled char state, as do characters with Tombstone's special power 'Translucency'

Darkseid is incredible, bravo!!!  I am working on an 'Omega Effect' beam FX just for him!

Lol, I was so obsessed by the cape rigging that I completely forgot that he got those phasing abilities!
I should have remembered at least his mental skills...!

Don't^^ every time he'd rise his arms everyone could see the blue on his arms^^

The best solution would be to add some additional helpers/bones in the capes.
So Ips could solve the problem by moving those helpers, in addition to the phasing moves of his own.

I don't like to double the polycount...But I already considered that option for star sapphire aura.
I'll add LOD to the nif files to prevent that excessive polycount to be displayed from distant view
So yes, Jonn could have semi-transparent  stances.

Ips let me know when you'll be able to breathe.
My free time is about to vanish , so, for now, I'll focus on Joker, Harley, Eclipso or Deadshot

No^^ because there's nothing to display^^
Despite Revenant assaults , I prevent myself to mesh any timmverse until all the previous models are released.
Otherwise all those timmverse models would  be reduced to a gallery!

Moreover, all those mods around makes me feel like making my own original one  :P

Oops, I also have to agree with the other poster who commented on Jonn's keyframes, but it sounds like you're planning to update them anyway. So ... cool! I can't wait to play with Deadshot, Green Lantern, Batman, etc.... (I just bought Justice League Unlimited on DVD).

May i ask this here? Are all the meshes/skin mentioned here , particularly the Superman mesh/skin is for  :ffvstr: only?  :(

If it is possible to use it for  :ff: , where can i download them?

Ips is so busy, so Jon can't have proprer animation yet... Any other skilled animators around with planty of free time?!
I really want to get rid of all those unfinished work but I don't want to botch it. Jon as an exemple with his inadequate keyframes resembles only the shadow of himself!

I was playing with all released Timm meshes last night. If you give Jonn the 'translucency' active defense, it looks great when he starts dodging attacks, etc.

I've gotto say, watching Martian Manhunter and Superman duking it out with Mongul and a small army of Manhunter robots looks plain cool ... the mesh proportions and skins are perfect. I'm actually going to download some voicepacks for them (something I've never done).

What character are you working on for release next, Volsung?

For now the timmverse are freezed, i'm working on some requests for reborn members.

Alas herodad1 I can't use Renegade Keyframes without the source max files due to the biped proportions.
My models would be messed up.
I should ask him directly^^ I could send him my rigged Martian Manhunter  so he would apply his own bip files.

(The next timmverse could be a secondary character with accesories like Eclipso or Deadshot)

I'm actually looking for a design for my avatar in FR Universe mod  :P
Lord Volsung was initially a crazed toy maker in the Unkoverse.
But, for FRU mod i'm thinking about something more caricatural...
A arrogent french evil mechanical genius that you heroes would love to kick^^

I draw really rarely, unless i'm force to.That's why i used that picture as a guide for the pose.
The proportions and details will be more polished on the 3d models.The clothes are quite anachronistic.
I'm still indecisive.I didn't dare to think about the colors.

Woo, our first villain!! (maybe...  :unsure:) . This is coming out nicely, and I think this is one of the few instances where I've seen several options for a design and not be able to have a complete preference because they're all awesome  :P . It's kind of freaking me out actually...  :blink:

Just a few opinions on things though:

-Keep the top hat, because Top hats are evil.
-Practically speaking, use the first/second design for the jacket, merely because it's more practical in terms of meshing the thing. I love trenchcoats, and I would kill for a working basic_trenchcoat mesh that didn't clip, but it's an incredible pain for a fairly useless design element.

I love the last one with the wig. Its so old fashioned and unnecessary, which is a perfect addition to any themed villain. I'm imagining the character in navy/admiral colours, blue coat, gold shoulders, white pants and knickerbockers, like admiral Norrington from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Very nice drawings Volsung !!!  :thumbup: Great design and concept ! An evil mechanical genius/toy maker.  :cool: I definitely agree with Tomato with the top hat. So, I would go with the first sketch. Love the cigar by the way. :P

As for the colors, maybe you could mix some red white and blue? Like what Carr did with his French characters. But seeing your current avatar pic, a mix of red, black , and yellow isn't a bad combination as well. Can't wait to see how this avatar of yours develops! The heroes of FR will have their hands full with this villain.  :thumbup: Great work!  ^_^

I'm with Car on this one.  I definitely like the far right design best, and I think Messire Volsung is just about perfect!

Top Hats are awesome!
and the style of coat with a top hat gives him more of an aristocratic look,  while the trenchcoat gives him more of an "admiral" or military officer look.  also, i think it looks more challenging for you! hahah.
the ones on the right look a bit too much like Sebastian Shaw for me.

But i admit for the colours that I thought about some less elementary...Brown, Cream, burgundy...

For the Cannon fodder/Basic minion, i was thinking about the absolute french stereotype in english/american countries.^^
