Help on Swapping and Adding Keyframe Animations

Hey guys I just wanted to know how to swap and add keyframes into another keyframes. For example, I want Iceman's melee_idle to replace Cyclops melee_idle or from Hulk's idle to Colossus idle. How can I do that and what program do I need?(I'm using FFTTR)
