what does your Lex look like? With and without the power suit.

Shogunn2517

I don't have a Lex without the powersuit(assuming you're talking machinery).  The Lex I use, it's based off of the pre-crisis powersuit, not the Apokalipian(?) suit he's had recently.  Sorry, I'm not using my machine right now so I can't tell you exactly, but I do know that(because pre-crisis powers weren't entirely too specific) I also have in mind Timm's Justice League version in mind.  From a number of battles in the DR, I know he's able to stand up quite formidably against Superman.  I believe I gave him sort of a "power nullifier effect" power that takes away energy.  He also has your concussion blast, energy black, etc as well.  Didn't give him any major defenses other than the fact he's made of metal, which gives him a pretty good defense against melee attack(even at the likes of a Superman) and that's about it.  Again, it's the fact that he can zap away your energy and he has pretty good offensive attacks as well, makes him enough of a match.  Not that I think he can out-right defeat my Superman, I just don't think my Supman can quite beat him(which is what I was going for anyway).

Now, the modern version of his battlesuit would be imaginatively different from various kryptonite attacks and higher invulnerability levels as well.

the modern suit never got too well defined, i mean in superman/batman he didn't even present a challenge for superman, Kal pretty much dominated the entire fight with only a few bruises to show for it. sorry AA i dont have a luthor file, but if i did his suit wouldn't be too tough, impressive to primitive screwheads, not much chop against a decent superhero.

My Luthor is a decently tough opponent in his battlesuit, but he's not that powerful.  What makes him an especially tough opponent for 'ol Kal is, however, that he's toxic, representing his kryptonite power batter, sort of like Metalo.  Since we can't simulate a k-beam, I figure this is the next best thing.

Again, I think that's only post-crisis version and not pre-crisis... am I wrong?

I haven't a clue, as I've stated before, I follow Timmverse canon when in doubt.

I like your logic.

for business suit/president/corporate megalomaniac Lex, i give him human stats,  a LOT of private army baddies,  usually gangsters/henchmen, and a high cost limey lure that i make a kryptonite summon.  its great,  when supes is in range, the baddies just go to town on him,  so lex is really difficult to handle if you dont take him out before he throws his first kryptonite chunk.

I like that DM, I may have to set up a 'suit' Luthor, I have the mesh and skin for it....
