30% pass thru defense ,  this one I dont know about, sometimes he gets hit and sometimes attack pass through him, like in one fight Stargirl couldnt connect with him, but Powergirl did and Gentleman Ghost wouldnt explain why.

any thoughts on these two guy??

Panther_Gunn

What version of OMAC are you going for?  I've got the Who's Who entry, but that's about it.  From that, I didn't discern any clawed attacks, and could only deduce that any beam attacks might actually come from Brother Eye.

Gentleman Jim:  I don't know how much more has been revealed about him, whether it's been defined if he really is a spirit, or just a really skilled "charlatan" (Who's Who wording).  I'm also not familiar enough with any changes brought about by  :ffvstr:, including FFX 3.X.  Would the Air material be workable?

Also, he did use magnesium flare bullets in his flintlocks (for flash), and utilize tape recorders & hologram projectors.

Would this be during the time when they were still going with Power Girl being the daughter of Arion, Lord of Atlantis?  Could be because of a mystical base.  (I'm not familiar enough with Starman's old equipment to know if it was scientific or mystical)

Tombstone is kind of a ghost and he is made out of energy. It'd be kind of like... "ectoplasma" (is this how it's spelled?) or something. I think it'd work for Gentleman Ghost.

And shouldn't OMAC be made out of metal?

BentonGrey

Don't know about OMAC, but as far as 'ol Gentleman Jim, it depends on which version you're going for.  The Pre-Crisis fellow was very likely a man using tricks, post, well, he's a ghost with a backstory tied up in the mess called Hawkman.  I'll post my version later.

The O.M.A.C. looks good to me, with the basis in Infinite Crisis???  Anyway, I was a bit clueless on these guys so thanks for sharing.

USAgent

The version of OMAC im going for is the infinity crisis version, as for the claws a couple sites I got info from state that they obtain powers to deal with their advirsarys and some have even grown claws in their battles, plus it said that they have the ability to release energy or concussive blasts so that is why I went with the beams.

That I couldnt tell ya, I just was reading some random comics that he appeared in and that was one of the fights that I remember.

I went with stone because I didnt want them to be so vunerable to energy attacks.

BentonGrey

Okay, here's my version of Gentleman Ghost:

Strength: 4
Agillity: 6
Speed: 4
Energy: 6
Endurance: 5

Attributes:
Escapist
Ephemeral
Levitate
Fast Healing
Cosmic Chump (because he needs to have a weakness to be playable, and it can simulate a high tech way of effecting him)

Powers:

Spirit Boxing: medium powered melee that causes cold damage (he has been shown to be able to inflict extreme cold, and he could use some variety in his attacks)

Flintlock Pistol: (pretty much the same as yours)

Spirit Travel: (teleport, been shown to be able to do this as well)

Good Caning: melee combo with ghostly cane

Spirit Form: Pass through, 50%

I like your idea about the fog, I may add that.

yeah I couldnt find any FX that would go with that (that is projectile like bullets with a flash at the end) so I gave him a blinding flash beam.

Benton, the "escapist" attribute is a great idea for him along with his "spirit travel teleport" which I also remember him doing.  I havnt seen him do any cold damage yet, but then again I only read a few issues he was in plus ghosts are known for cold attacks (plus you know your DC)so Ill add a cold melee as well.
A couple questions though, I see you have his strength at "4" is he really that strong?  because in the game he would be able to rip a telephone pole out of the ground with a strength of 4. Also I dont know if I would have 2 negative attributes for him, Ephemeral is pretty bad enough with loosing health when you use energy. And was he know to heal pretty quick from attacks? Or is fast healing in there to simulate a ghostly being?

Thanks for all these ideas guys, they are quite helpful to a mostly "Marvel" dude like me!

BentonGrey

The 4 strength is purely out of my own head, (or from Taskmaster's herofile, where I assume I got it originally), but you also have to keep in mind that this reflects my own take on the character.  My version isn't any particular comic version, he is the DCUG version.  I may lower that strength score, but I wanted him to really be able to go toe to toe with Hawkman.  Healing is indeed meant to reflect his being ghostly.

Actually, pre-Crisis it depended on where you were reading him.  In a lot of Hawkman stories, he really did seem like he was a ghost (especially in the circa-1985 series).  In his Batman appearances, he seemed more like a charlatan using gimmicks.

And, as a minor note, he was the first comic book villain to battle the Super Friends on TV.
