OMG!!!!

That opens a heck of a lot of other possibilities for skoping. Good work man!

Johnny Patches

multiple-man messing around with shapeshifters still and yes it does have a trench coat too

The Hitman

You showed me some of this stuff before, but this stuff now is unbelievable. I love the shapeshifting mesh for Morph and this Multiple Man mesh is bananas.

And I definitely want your Stryfe mesh! (As well as these two)

Jakew

Amazing stuff, Johnny

Very nice, JP...

Does this mean a Snowbird shape-changing mesh is a possibility?

Considering, I have never been able to get the FFX shapeshifter attribute to work for me, a changing Snowbird mesh would be just....Awesome!

...or a Maxam! :o

Couldn't you do Maxam on the Hyde mesh by Texas Jack?

I don't know the character, but I did a Hulk/Banner skin on TJ's Jekyll and Hyde.

Seem principal. Average guy grows larger.

JP On these shapeshifting/multi-man skopes are you using TJ's plastic man, Syn's morph or Tommy's Mr Fantastic? Or can you give away the secret?  How do you import in meshes like the blob without distortion? Is it a matter of scaling verticies?

One way or another it's very impressive work.

thanks for the comps guys..  and yes i used all three shapeshifters with the same method and it works.. and you can add smoke and fire to a shfter also and hide it.. here is another shifter preview with smoke wip.. when i get a chance ill post something to explain how to do it also

A tutorial would definitly be sweet man!

Hmmm...could you replace the 'dodge' animation mesh with a puff of smoke or green genie's fx to simulate the character turning to mist to allow attacks to pass through them?

i know you can for sure change the dodge to a mist or smoke.. but  passing threw it, just might have to be tested in the game it self..

Xenolith

Just having the transparent/energy/gaseous body would certainly give the impression the attack is passing through it.

My question, Mr. Wonder-Patches, is if you could take a mesh and have an arm "flame on" when it attacks, or turn to a rocky hide when it punches.  I'm thinking Super-Skrull here.

Mystik

have you tried AA's super skrull skope ?

Yeah thats waht I meant, by turning into mist it would appear that the attack passes through/misses etc. even if the graphics don't actually represent that.
Cool stuff. I have an air elementalist character and I think it'd be cool to skope a tornado fx onto him for the dodge animations so he turns into a whirlwind and redirects physical attacks.

RE: Super Skrull scope.

I missed that one, I guess.

Gremlin

JP, you are a gentleman and a scholar. I love this stuff.

docdelorean88

I was wondering if you could do the smoke as like a tail. I have that ausome Danny Phantom,i've just been trying to track down something for the squigly tail flying animation.

Johnny Patches

ok if done correct you can add fx's here is one i done with val's nightcrawler

Jakew

That's amazing, JP ... AS ALWAYS

Maybe a dumb question, but is there any way to transform Nightcrawler INTO an FX (like a smoke cloud) for his dodge animations?

Johnny Patches

yup.. i been going threw so many fx files .. looking for a good smoke cloud..
my eyes feel like this ~@_@~ .. still cant find one i like.. any ideas?

djfredski

:o man JP that crazy!   :D

Mystik

the best smoke in the game is from green genies fx, my personal nightcrawler and ult nightcrawler fx are skopes of here multiple fx. I post pics if i get the time
