when meshers want to release something without a base skin they just release the mesh with the wireframe in place of a standard. you know, i remember a time when people released meshes before there was a c6 standard skin on every mesh. we now refer to that time as the "dark ages"... (they didn't have running water back then either)

HAHAHA brilliant

why not just use the weaponmaster ffx?  you could customize the attribute how you wanted.
I guess I could, but I really wanted to attempt to import a Star Wars-specific blaster.

detourne_me, very nice skopes! Slowly but surely we're getting all the important Star Wars characters done.

EDIT: By the way, does anyone know how to resize things in nifskope? I still haven't figured that out.

Alphanaut

Created a sort of pulp-ish cannon fodder type skope.

Perfect for those hard boiled detective types!

BatWing

this is some great meshes!

Use the "scale" variable (just below rotation).  1 = normal size.

The Hitman

Well, here's my first big NifSkope "Jimmy- Rigged" mesh. I used all the previously- used skins for the pic:

I can't even find rotation. Where should I be looking for this? I've only used nifskope once.

JKCarrier

Right-click on the node you want to change and select Transform --> Edit to get the rotation and scale options.

BatWing

doesn't nifscope have like numbers?

joemama

Not quite what most are skoping, but...
Now see thats wut I'm talking about!!!

GhostMachine

Looks pretty sweet!

Do you have to know how to do hexing the hard way (ie, changing #s and all that) to use Nifskope? I'm pretty clueless when doing that, and would like to try hexing. I have a few ideas in mind that might get me back to skinning if I can make my own modifications.

The Hitman

Nope, no knowledge of "old" hexing is required. I know squat about hexing, and I can do NifSkope.

FLASH_22798

The Glider is the standard skin that came with Tommyboy's Green_Goblin_tv mesh which was done by Podmark.   This is one of the characters that I have been working on for quite a while on.   Just been floating between projects when time allows so it's been going pretty slow.

Cool. When I get time I may play around with it, then.

A warning:

I haven't finished a project and barely play the game anymore since I started "playing around" with nifskope....

...I think it's one of those "gateway" mod tools :P

Just say no!

OOps i should of checked the list first sorry guys

bearded

deanjo, what did you use as your base?  volsung's timm?  is Volsung on the ok list?  cause i want to do the same...

Zivon23

Here's one that I am working on.

Thanks to Syn for the awesome meshes and main skin, and to UE for the skin on the coat.  All skins were from the original standard skins and are used only to show off the skope.

I Likes Zivon

Here's one I call Shiar_Royal_Guard:
*

*Not For Release

And I kept looking at Silent Scouts avatar and was like somethings missing, what's missing? And I finally came up with this!

*

*Not For Release

Hope he likes!....Oh and that led to this!!!

*

*Not For Release

Lunarman

WOW. I love all three of those. they are awesome. Such a shame they're not for release *hint* *hint*

I really like The Royal Guard seeing as i played that mission in MUA not a few weeks ago.

GhostMachine

Sweet!

I've fooled around with nifskope a bit, but apparently there aren't any tutorials for idiots out there, so I haven't actually made anything, just fooled around a bit. (like putting the shotgun from Texas Jack's Punisher mesh on the hip of Fusion's male_urban_jacket, or the shield from one of the Captain America meshes on the back of male_heavy_FX without saving anything)

I think I'm just gonna say the heck with it and throw up some requests in the Requests forum when I actually have time to skin anything, because I can't figure out how to do a few things.....

I read that, but I'm trying to figure out how to put a gun onto a mesh that has a different weapon (an axe), and I'm also trying to see about putting two lightsabers and a cloak and hood onto a mesh, then changing the colors of the lightsaber blades. (Supposed to represent a character of mine from the Star Wars pen and paper RPG - going with the hood to hide most of his head because he's a Twi'lek) Both of those will also require some keyframe modifications, as I'm not aware of any meshes for a character that uses two lightsabers at once, and I'm not looking forward to attempting those......

PsiBlaze

Ok, I figured I should put up somethings I've been working on. I displayed the first attempt at Cherry Darling from Gridhouse in the requests forum, this one is re done on a vx female heels mesh

I have also been trying to put 3 characters in one mesh. I'm a Charmed freak, but hey, others may like it too. Charmed ones Season six. 2 Ink batgirls and one fl_straighthair, with Tom versatile bits for hair and Piper's pregnancy hiding poncho, and pant legs from Ink's Surge

I'm still trying to set FX in FFEdit to start on someone other than Piper (Like orbing fx  from Paige) No luck yet, but I am trying. They all move together, so in game I usually set them up with spells, keeping individual powers light. ^_^  Please critique
