The Hitman

Thanks for clearing that up!

Now, for some skopes. I've been sitting on these for a while now:

Grim Reaper in normal and Skull- Headded versions.

the_ultimate_evil

dood please tell me your going to release them, ohh all we need now is some floating(feetless) kf's

The Hitman

Hmmm... I wonder if it's possible to duplicate the "hover/flying" anims, and rename them to fit the basic "walk/run/stand" anims...

Oh, I wasn't planing on releasing them until I fix the skins... but if you'd like to do the standard skin, it's all yours!

The only problem would be that he is so high in the air. If he tried to a melee it would look so weird. Unless there is a way to change how high they go. If so ignore me.

Zivon23

Well...  I figure it is time to show off some more of my skopes.
http://edit.81x.com/Authors/Zivon23/Demon_Gren_Variant_skopes.jpg

The base mesh is all the same.  Grenadier's JM_DEMON mesh.  Starting at the top left corner......and going clockwise.

Demon_gren_Fireballs. I attached FX instead of a weapon so he chucks fireballs in the game.  Will be making a new Human Torch from this skope soon.

Demon_gren_Jedi.  Kinda self explainitory.  Lightsabres have individual files so they can be skinned different colours.  Sabres taken fron Valander's Yoda mesh.

Demon_gren_Samurai.  2 Katanas added and one sized to be a wakisashi.  Long hair and a ponytail added.  Katanas taken from Syn's Ultimate deadpool hex and the hair is from 3d Master's Zimlord mesh.

Zivon23_2swords.  A variant of the Samurai skope, removing the belt and hair and adding a ponytail.  This is a variant for my Avitar.

demon_gren_Vanguard.  These are the next few pics.  As you can see it is still a wip.  Hair and cape is from Grenadier's Sentry mesh.  Hammer is from Beyonder's Thor and the sickle is from Fusion's Vanguard mesh.  Upper body is from Tommyboy's Manhunter(?) and Scarlet Spider meshes.  Skirt is from GNI's Darth Maul.  Mask is from Vertex's Male_basic_VX_Version 2.

Lastly....

Demon_gren_bugbear.  It is simply the Demon mesh with Bugbear's axes.  I believe the Bugbear mesh was done by Texas Jack(But I may be mistaken)

Thank you grenadier for the Awesome mesh.  Thank you Syn, Tommy, TJ, Fusion, Renigade, Beyonder, Vertex, and all you other meshers out there for all the spectacular bits and pieces(and meshes of course) that has made Skoping such a phenom.

Critisism wanted, comments welcome.

Zivon23

ps.  sorry for being so wordy.
pps.  If you can't see the pic, try the link just above the pic itself.
ppps.  No Cripp12, I have not abondoned your request....I just needed a break from charlie.

Peerless1

Great job Zivon.  I still remember your male basic (resized) with Darkseid or was it High Evolutionary kfs.  ;)  Skoping was made for you!  Quick question:  Are all your meshes converted?  Because I get only floating parts when I mix vx parts with non-vx meshes.  :(

Keep it up, neighbor! <--Anyone recognize that little nod to a certain not-so-shining church knight (hint)?

i'm surprised they didn't use the wraith cloaks for something like what you are asking for...

Well, IPS, it's funny you mention the wraith...here is one I made (with his 7 wives -- also skoped).  Unfortunately it's just a recolor of the pink NIF viewer image, as I can't get my zips to convert to bundles for use with ctool2  :( .

Try the link if the image doesn't show...

Just skoped wraith onto Entropy skeleton, and Dragon wings from Val's dragonlord (shrunk to nothing) onto Imperial_Guard_Nightside mesh.  They don't flap, but it looks pretty cool to me.  Any thoughts?  Criticisms?

Alien Ape Version 2
Alien Snake

Again, FH, love the alien hybrid meshes.  Would you perhaps PM me and tell me how on earth you skoped out the legs on the snake mesh?  It all shows as one piece for me, and I had some plans.  Thanks.

O K, that's 3 posts in a row; so maybe I need a life.

But to save on post counts, heeeere's nuisance Nu Suns! (Wish I was actually funny...))

Zivon23

Peer.....my MB darkseid hex was sooooo long ago.  Thanks for the comments.  Might I make a slight suggestion on your wolfhead/bugbear axe hex.....shrink down the axe a bit more.....if it is still at a scale of 1, go with a scale of 80-85.  I think it will look much more proportioned.  Of Course, this is only a suggestion.

That, neighbor is a smart idea.  Here it is scaled down to like 60%.  The male heavy is huge...

Thanks, Z.

Zivon23

That looks better.....

Coming soon......Guardians of the Galaxy.  The Soviet Super Soldiers.  A new Human torch.  Final Fantasy's Sepheroth.  StarGod.  Stay tuned True believers.

you have me confused, not that its that hard to do :P

Peerless1

You know...the Wraiths from  :ffvstr:?

:o You did know.  Anyone have something to wash this egg off my face?
Still, I bet you didn't know that I finally got the jacket and hood to stop floating on my Kohl skope...

Yes the skins are kitbashed because I still can't skin worth a $#!+  :( , and no...they won't be released with the meshes   :P  :) .  I just got tired of primary color only images.  Also, the skope of A-Ra will not be released, as well, it's kinda illegal.  However, this is truly what my  Dynasty (Fan4) look like...

All of my skopes are for Freedom Force.  I have never even played  :ffvstr:  :( :(let alone converted any meshes.

Peerless1

I actually prefer (mostly) to work in  :ff: rather than  :ffvstr:, as I can't get my zips to convert to ff bundles, so ctool2 won't let me open any meshes.  Not to mention the  :ffvstr: Nif viewer almost always shows skins as pink on pink...no skin details.  Drives me batty.

djfredski

  awesome work guys.

Thats pretty easy to fix. Just make sure it has a _refl and _glow skin. If that doesn't work you might need to convert the skins to dds

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.  :)
And here's 2 more...both working with Predator mesh, and 1 with Pred skoped onto Gren's Beetle mesh skeleton.

ffbundles are actually just zips renamed with the .ff extension. you can use any zip application to open the files and extract the contents.

ctool is only really a viewer. it's generally useless for anything else.

This is very true sir, but it would allow me to view the  :ffvstr: meshes I currently can't see anywhere else.  I did read the help file, but whenever I try to view a renamed zip file (ff bundle) I get a fatal error in CTool.  Thanks for verifying that I was attempting the right thing, though.  I really do appreciate all your pointers lately.  :D  My learning curve has soared these past few weeks in regards to utilizing the tools of this game.   I owe it all to you and all the other members of this community who continually take time from their rl to help underachievers in  :ff: like myself.  I will do my best to "pay it forward" (and back, should that unlikely event ever come to pass  ).

:o!!!! I just read your post more closely.  I have been renaming .zip to .ffb.    Never thought to use just .ff.  Must be all the sleepless nights over the 370 degree vat of grease frying several hundred donuts (or I'm just slow).  I really prefer the first idea... :P

Thanks Vamp.  Not sure who you are, but that helps me a great deal!  :)

Somebody save me...

Been working a Clark Kent à la Smallville skope.

Uses vxmale_pants skoped onto  vxSuperboy, rick_jones_tv lite for the jacket parts and vxSuperman for the hair.
The skin is in a super WIP stage right now, but still wanted to show off the skope. And although I'm pretty happy with the skope, does anyone know where I could get pieces that would look more like Tom Welling's hair from off the show?

maybe vxnorthstar current?  Or if you have it maybe Ink's Smasher might be good if skinned proper.  Just a suggestion.

I agree with Z.  that is a pretty good hairstyle to use.  unless you want to get really bold and start reshaping some hair at the vertices scaling level.  that gets pretty tedious, though.  Great job so far.  I like the jacket...but I have 1 question/request:  Will there be an alternate skin for the (no longer comic relief) villain (re)introduced in this season's finale.  (Just in case some1 didn't watch it.  Shame on them though.  )

Keep it up.  I can't imagine what you have in store after this...Perhaps the entire cast of Smallville?  :P  ;)

cripp12

You should bring the pants down a little.  They look like floods.

Again, heavy WIP, still need to finish the skin.

I would if I could, but the pants are part of the vxmale_pants mesh and can't be lowered.

Podmark

hair looks great, but the pants not so much. I'd either change the base mesh, or try to put some other pants pieces overtop if you can.

i thought as much regarding the pants, but it does look much better with the new hair!  Hardly believe it could, but it does.  Nice job.
