Volsung! :o .....

detourne_me

Well the He-Man skin is Ultimate Evil's and it kicks booty!  but the hair is from Ren's Sentry, with its standard skin, and the mesh is Renegade's shining knight witth Fusions pieces... would it be okay to release?
I think TUE should host it if it is to be released,  since he is the master of the masters when it comes to skinning them.

Kaede

this is for my pal Benton Grey... a more musculine Aquaman...

BentonGrey

Quite awesome!  Aquaman looks quite awesome like that.  I think the THIRD version looks a little better.  How about one with his gloves skoped on?

:EDIT: WHOOPS!  I totally meant third there, sorry.

Someone said I would do this  :

Red Tornado

MAAAADD!!!!! PROPS!!! To C6, Revenant, and Tommyboy!!!!

XLR8er

theres an aquaman mesh and a red tornado!!?

Blkcasanova247

SICK! I mean literally...all the spinning...dizzy...oooboy!   Excellent as usual brother!

BentonGrey

Ohhh.......tell me that Reddy is releasable, PLEASE tell me it is..........

detourne_me

YES!!!! I knew you could do it Style!

Blkcasanova247

Hey gang,
Fusion PM'd me and this is what he had to say........

Hi Blkcasanova247,

my feelings towards nifskoping are divided. As much as i love a growing community with an infinite variety of meshes, i don´t like the idea of my later meshes which took a lot of effort to be taken apart for spares.

Please abstain from skoping any of my meshes.

Thanks for understanding.

Fusion.

I think that says it all.  :( But much respect to Fusion for creating awesome meshes...hopefully he'll return soon.

style

Mad props to Fuse we miss ya buddy come back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

Thank God I didn't touch one of his meshes!

detourne_me

i totally understand you Fusion.
I won't be showing off hexes or skopes containing any of Fusions work from now on.

BentonGrey

That's a real shame, but we've got to respect his decision.

Blkcasanova247

Dammit...another one off my list!  Nicely done!

Revenant

You guys need to put a website together to host all these!

ahh well, its understandable

Renegade

I agree with Fusion. I just won't go as far as him about it.

I will say this though, if I release a mesh and see it skoped with new keyframes a short time later I will get annoyed. That's just insulting. I put a lot of work into customizing character specific animations.

Of course the irony is that I will be releasing a mesh soon that someone else did but with a new keyframe set that better fits the character. Even though I didn't get permission first, I'm sure he won't mind. But this is one of those "do as I say, not as I do" things.

I can certainly understand that. But out of curiosity would it bother you if the keyframes were meant so the mesh could double as a completely different character? Nothing specific, just a possibility that occured to me.

Anyway I really appreciate that you have allowed skoping Ren, it opens the doors to recreate characters more accurately than would have been possible otherwise.

ohh I'm not complaining, me and fusion have a good understanding, i've done a bunch of standards for him so i have total respect for his decision, on what your saying is why i've tryed to avoid KF skoping 99% of the time, any skope i've done or worked on has been for a character that couldnt work on another mesh or hasn't got one.

Failed_Hero

Yeah evil I get it.  Especially do as I say not as do.  But I get why you wouldn't want to see a Spider-Man mesh you worked hard on, you release, reskinned and skoped into scarlet spider in three days.

Revenant

Yeah, it would make you feel like, "well, did they even try to play as Spider-Man?  Or did they just boot up NifSkope and start hexxing ?"

detourne_me

that being said i've just put my skope of Tommy's riddler with dark shaman's keyframes up in my second yahoo group....

Since this is my topic I think I should say this: I have the deepest upmost respect for meshers and those that mesh run this forum honestly. The thing with me is I get so inspired by them! And I never take from them and redo that character they meshed. I take bits, pieces, weapons and keyframes from them to make a whole nother character. My first skope ever was Blade. We didn,t have a Blade character mesh so hey instead of request one skope it! I cut for all the meshers out there Ink, Ren, Tommyboy, Gren, Jik, Fusion, Texas Jack, Volsung, Vertex, Valandar! All you guy's are dope! Hope I didn't leave anyone out! But MAJOR PROPS TO ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

tommyboy

Yes, there is a moment, a twinge when I see a mesh I worked hard on being 'skoped within a week of release just to a slightly altered version (*cough* Red tornado*cough*), and I think "Oh...". That passes quickly.
I've given permission for my meshes to be 'skoped. I put no time limits, no conditions on that, other than that I'd like credit, so being an adult, I'll stand by what I've said.
If you make stuff that you and others like, using part or all of my meshes, I'm cool with it. As long as credit is given.

Jakew

I'm just getting into fiddling with Nifskope, skinning, etc and I'm curious: what's the difference between skoping keyframes to work for a mesh as opposed to just using any of the myriad of other existing alternative keyframes available for a particular mesh?
