While I will say thank you. All the praises truely go to the originators of these skins and meshes I skoped from, members like Afghan Ant, Beardedinlair, Bearded, Beyonder, C6, Gren, Gni, Ink, Podmark, Ren, Revenant, Texas Jack, Tomato, Tommyboy, the_ultimate_evil, UnfluffyBunny, Valandar, Vertex, Volsung, Webrider, wingzero, ow_tiobe_sb, jik, and yell0w_lantern....I even wanna thank Fusion, Black Cas, Symon, REDBACKDEATH, detourne_me, Failed_Hero and all the other skoper, skinners, and meshers for inspiration! :thumbup:

I cant seem to open these guys up. I get "unable to open character file" with character tool
and when I import with character tool 2 I can't see the character file unless I choose all files and when I load it I get "unable to extract bundle" Can anyone help.

I never use the "import" command with CTool2 -- I'm not even sure what it's for. Just unzip the files and drop them in your library/characters directory. Then restart CTool2 and they should show up on the list along with all the others.

Importing is useless in character tool 2. FF bundles are basically files created that contain the mesh, herofile, and skins (iirc), but no one has ever made use of it and it probably will never be used. Anyway, at the simplest...those skopes just might not be "openable" by ctool and you might have to use nifviewer or nifskope.

Sidenote: are all the download links invalid now?

make sure they are all nifconverted and make sure you are useing the  :ffvstr: character tool!

Are you possibly adding in those alternative action figures from the Spider-Man 3 toy line? (Scorpion, Rhino, and Kraven) I posted those pictures from a toy catalog but I can post them again if they are lost in this thread somewhere.

So I went through this thread on a fluke.  I don't know how I missed it before.  I've been playing  :ff: and  :ffvstr: for like what...6 months now....and I'm still amazed what's possible in this game!!  All of these skopes are AMAZING!!!  Actually, from the big picture, I'm astounded at the level of artistry here.  Just phenomenal!  Stuff like Mechanical Man piloting inside one of his own robots?!  Wow...that's just dope!!  And so many more!!!  It's really a shame that so many of these are unreleasable.  But maybe that's for the best.  My hard drive is already chunked up enough with all the stuff that I've downloaded already!   :D :P
