Failed Hero, i suspect the guitar merging into the body during the run is just a side effect of it being bigger than the standard rifle. If so, i doubt there is any way to 'fix' it, its just the nature of the mesh. Looks cool tho, might have to get hold of an electric guitar mesh piece to do something similar for a sonic/music/punk villain as Lunarman mentioned...

Well, y'all inspired me to finally try something a bit more exciting than shrinking a gun or hiding a piece:

This is, of course, just a rip-off of Style's excellent work.  It's Ren's awesomely muscular Superman with a VERY little hexing, just pasted over the Namor skope Style did a while back.  Provided no-one involved minds, I'd like to give him some minor KF skoping (just give him a different jump animation for Aquaman's Superleaper jumps) and include him in my next DCUG update.  Anyroad, as far as I'm concerned, this here is Style's skope, since I wouldn't have been able to do this if it wasn't for him doing all the hard stuff.

Hey Benton... have you plans to release this skope?  I'm planning an Aquaman skin, since I haven't released one for him yet, and I've been wanting to Rumble with him ever since Sledgehammer made that Aquaman voicepack...

Well Rev, that depends entirely on what Ren and Style say about it.  If they don't mind, it'll be included in a new edition of DCUG (and I'll be happy to send it to you outside of that if you like), but Ren has stated his lack of enthusiasm for skoping, so I'd have to check with him first.  Not to mention, I'm pretty much just ripping off Style's work, so his blessing is also necessary.

Hey TR I tried to hex that Blackjack Grapple hook FX to no avail.  It said something about the version number of the files being uncompatible... are you using the newest version of NifSkope?

my own personal trick: if the nifs are not compatible just run them both thru the eznif converter and everthing works

would anyone be interested in a grapple hook beam or an arrow with a line on the (projectile or beam)
and maybe golden lasso that doesn't stretch the loop

O K, here I go again.

This 1st 1 is an "original" character inspired by Ultimates #5, used to be a swimmer due to my inability to mesh... but thanks to skoping, and the ppl listed on the photo, I made him what he was meant to be...

( And yes, it's only a spoiler to save forum space.  :D i don't know that any1 is all that  excited about my noobish skopes...)

The second poses some unusual problems for me.  It is a request that was simple enough to accomplish: Put a skirt on Warbird to make the current Mary Marvel.  However, I skoped the skirt from Paradox's Nilus hex of Gni's gally and Taarna, and it looks great...until you notice the white glow effect that won't go away no matter what I've tried.*  Also, the original mesh works with any phoenix style keys, but the skope only works with IPS's assorted female keys (excepting Jean keys).**  I included the image that was sent to me for any pointers or criticism vs. the skope.  Also, any help on the glow would be appreciated.  (The keys aren't a problem, really, as IPS made so many great sets (not that a female version of Ren's Cap. Marvel wouldn't be sweet).  Well, click on the spoiler for image...and thanks all... :)

*never mind, i forgot to make the female basic lightmap black...that seems to fix it for me... :rolleyes:

If any1 is interested, both files are now at my google group.  Enjoy!  And I am currently removing the RHf file, as I mistakenly uploaded my evilly begotten skin...back soon with more standard skins from original meshes.
