So I did a little project that is nearly complete.  I took 3 different Iron Man meshes (Bobby69's Iron Man_v69, Grenadiers MK7, and Tommyboy's MK20) and skoped them together on Vertex's VX_Wildfire mesh.  I alpha enabled all the parts, so i can switch between suit models by the standard skins for those separate meshes no kittbashing needed!.  however I lost ALL reflection, in every mesh part.   maybe Casanova, Style, Thor Reborn, would you guys like to take a look at it,  see if i can get reflections back?
I also moved the boot jets, so they are coming out from the boots now, notthe bootcuffs like wildfire.

You know what....I just looked at my skope of Ultimate Iron Man and the same thing happened to me....the reflections aren't showing up. :blink: :unsure: I don't know why. That's so weird.

The fix I found for getting reflections back is to look for the NiTextureEffect of the mesh that you started out with (here it's VX_Wildfire) you can find it by clicking one of the editable meshes, looking up at it's node, and it might be in the properties or effects region.  Failing that you should see it at the bottom of the meshes somewhere, looking at it in list mode (not heirarchy)

Then set all the added parts up with that effect by changing the property/effect to match.  Meshes/parts that are copied over between nifs keep their individual texture effects, but I think the game can only render the first set; all others seem to be ignored.  You'll have to do each one individually.  You might wanna look at the tutorial on the NifSkope wiki about adding refl/glow, that's where I found out about what those nodes do...

OK so i released the VX_Iron Man in my first yahoo group for FFVTTR only.  I haven't figured out how to get the reflections back, so please feel free to take a look and try to fix it.
I also skoped together some Iron Man specific keyframes too.   hope you like em.

style you ever thought of trying gren's male_suit v2 for two face it comes with gun animations, and has a bit of a better suited build than irrationals version
