To quote the official announcement:

We are currently aware of an issue with the Consignment Markets following today's game update. To address this issue it will be necessary to take the Consignment Markets offline. As we have more information and an ETA for the return of the Markets, we will post them here.

Thank you for your understanding and patience while we work to correct this issue.

Sounds like the markets are offline on both Heroes and Villains sides, until they work the unspecific problem out.

Yes, I just found this out for myself.

The consignment market was buggy as heck even before the update, so I hope they fix it and get it back up quickly.  I have stuff for sale, and I want my money.

I imagine this does cause quite a bit of issues with people who are trying to trade so they can build the inventions they want, though.

My only hope is that I don't lose any of the items I had up for sale. If that's not an issue then I'm ok with waiting until problems are fixed.
