Generation X (The Ladies of GenX) 5-12-07

I've decided upon myself to skin the teens of my most favorite comic ever... Generation X.
On my list:

Jubilee(almost finished)
Gaia(done)
Buff(done)- Generation X movie character

Synch(wip)- with rainbow like aura
Chamber(haven't started)- with fire fx
Husk(haven't started)- steel or rock form
M(haven't started)
Refrax(haven't started)- Generation X movie character

and possibles-
Mondo
Skin

IPS has been working on Penance, so I'm not going to interfere with him on that skin... I look forward to his version.

yeah I'm actually going to South Korea from May 15th-31st :D  I'm so excited about it!

and no rush on the Penance mesh/skin... I just stated I'm looking forward to it-  I don't have a rushed timeframe for these skins...

Where will you be going while you're here,  I can recommend tonnes of places if youre not familiar with the area.

oh, and I really like Jubilee too,  her glasses are great.

I'm glad I decided to skin Gaia and Buff... because doing those characters sparked my interest in the rest of the Gen X team :)

thanks for all the compliments too :D  I know I'm not the best skinner... but I think I have improved at least a bit since my first skins years ago.

And I'll be sure to take tons of pictures for all of you while I'm in Korea.

I recieved an awesome email today that supplied me with skins of Mondo and Emplate... I haven't checked them out, but they will give me a good idea to start off with when it comes to skinning those characters if I decide to as well.

I am leaving this tuesday for Korea- very nervous but excited too...
if I have time I'll post pics of M and possibly Husk, as I'm trying to cover all of the females on the team first.

I have a pretty good idea on how to do Husk's skin... to make her look partially transformed or at least have parts of her uniform ripped with steel/rock underneath.

Monet is finished and she looks glamorous... haha reminds me of that song.

Each comes with their own keyframes, mesh/hex done by others... although I did the hex for the Buff skin(my Firestar_Hex at my yahoo group.)  Jubilee and Husk so far are the most personalized, as they should be since they always look different in costume.  Jubes has her glasses, earrings, coat, and gloves.  Husk, if you look closely, has rips in her upper body uniform to show off her steel armor.  Monet has beautiful flowing hair.  Buff is a bit bigger than the rest of the females.  Gaia has some nice keyframes.

I have been really busy with work-  owning the business and all...

so I haven't been able to work on any of the Gen X guys.

BUT-  do you want me to release the females now and then the guys when I get around to them?

Gaia, Jubilee, Husk, M, and Buff?

if so, I'll gladly release them early.

I'd say release what is done now, I wouldn't mind adding the Gaia skin to my collection.
