Ok, so with MUCH advice from many of you here I have finally went and ordered  :ffvstr:.  It hasn't arrived yet, but in preparation for that, I wonder if I could get Y'all's collective advice on some technical stuff.  I'm definitely going to want to download EZFX for  :ffvstr:.  But is it better to wait to do so after downloading FFEdit for it?  And if so, is there any technical steps that I will need to know to do so?

Oh, one more thing, I also very interested in FFX 3.2 (not to be confused with Alex's EZFX) for :ffvstr:.  But is there a sequence for that you would recommend as well?  Again, should I wait to download this program before or after FFX and FFEdit?

Oh and what about EZNIF creator (that is Alex's conversion tool)?

Hmmmmmmmmmm...maybe a better question is, what would you recommend as the download sequence for these four programs so as not to jack the game up?

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Dr.Volt

Okkkkkkkkkk...perhaps my questions there are too cumbersome.     How about this, can anyone field any of the following technical questions:

1.  Does FFEdit need to be downloaded BEFORE EZFX for  :ffvstr:?  I seem to recall someone once saying that if FFX is downloaded BEFORE FFEdit that the latter can really screw up the game and in fact several characters fx can be lost.
2.  In turn does FFX 3.2 need to be down loaded before or after FFX?  What about in conjunction with FFEdit?

Your help is greatly, greatly appreciated!

FFedit and FFX are independent of each other so that really doesn't matter, I believe. FFX 3.2 can be installed alone, you don't need to install FFX 3.0 at all unless you really want to.

My suggestion:

1. FFedit
2. Ezfx 6.0
3. FFX 3.2
4. Whatever else you want to install

P.S. I got confused on whether you were talking about ezfx or ffx since you switched terms...so i hope this helps ya.

Dr.Volt

That is VERY helpful, Previsionary!  THANK YOU!!

Yeah, I know...I get FFX and EZFX mistaken for each other all the time.
