Yesterday, I went to this:

http://www.adventurecon.com/

Got a couple of sketches and bought some comics from a dealer who had a 6 comics for $5 deal going on, plus I got a couple of limited edition free prints done just for the convention. I also picked up 2 issues of a comic by a local creator who is self-publishing (Matt Wenger, who does a black and white comic called "Sammy The Skunk").

Iron Man by John Romita Jr

Shadowhawk by G.W. Fisher (Shadowhawk inker)

limited edition free prints by Phil Noto and John Romita Jr (and yes, I forgot to get the JRJr one signed)

I also bought a color print of Raven, Wonder Girl (Cassie, not Donna) and Starfire from G.W. Fisher and had it signed. Its too big to scan, but there are pictures of it on the net. He was also selling pages of original art from issues of Shadowhawk for $25 or 2 for $40, but I was a few bucks short or I would have bought one of those instead of the print.

KRnut82 was at the con with me and also got sketches by the same artists I did, but I'll let him decide if he wants to post or mention what he got.

(One guy ahead of me was getting sketches of the same character by various artists, and after seeing the sketch JRJr did for him, I have one thing to say: if Marvel ever gets the rights to James Bond again, they definitely need to get him to do the book!)

If I can figure out how to work this scanner my brother has I'll post pics later.

Yeah, I  got a sketch of Mary Jane Watson from John Romita Jr. with her old hairstyle (ya know with the bangs) and had her winking. He signed my copy of the free art print.

Also got the signed print by Phil Noto.

From G.W. Fisher I got a sketch of Nick Fury for my bro (Nick is his favorite character) as a surprise birthday present since he couldn't go to the con this year.

I had Gina Biggs sign a copy of her Dark Horse manga comic Red String that I bought directly from her. Wont be posting a pic of that autograph since she signed on the inside front cover and I don't want to damage my book. She also drew a little head sketch of the lead character.

A signed Sammy The Skunk #1 by Matt Wenger.

Andy Smith signed the back of my AdventureCon program. He's the one who drew the art for the back cover.

The rest of what I got was some cheap back issues from a couple of dealers. It was some Fantastic Four stuff that I had a hard time finding until now, a couple of old Marvel G.I. Joe comics and some DC stuff.
