One thing that gets my attention is the producer, Akiva Goldsman, who's worked on "Batman Begins" and "Superman Returns" (and the yet to be completed "Watchmen").  That's already positive direction.

I like the soung of this:

Well....I really love the comic Titans, what little I have read of them....which is admittedly very limited.  I thoroughly enjoyed Ink and crew's mod, which is actually what introduced me to them.  If it's made with no connection whatever with the cartoon....I'll be thrilled.  I would, as I'm sure you all are quite sick of hearing, prefer Robin to Nightwing, but Nightwing in the TT comics has never bothered me as much as in the Batman comics, so it's not a deal breaker.

However, I do wonder at this choice of characters to go to the big screen....it seems like there are a lot of more well known characters who are being skipped over to go to something of a third string group.  *cough* Aquaman *cough* Green Lantern *cough* *cough*

Warner Bros is still trying to capture that elusive Teenage audience. Seemingly oblivious that that is not the demographic. The people who see these films (sad to say) are preteens and adults.
