I picked up the tpb from the library a few weeks back - it's the story arc that brough Uncle Ben back into regular continuity. Focusses on an alternate timeline Peter and Ben - May is the one killed by the burglar rather than Ben, so Peter throws himself full-time into showbiz to bring in the money. Less said beyond that the better, really.

The tpb covers Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man 6-10. The 6-7 arc, Masks, was pretty cool, but the 8-10 arc, Jumping the Tracks, was just... bleargh. The only thing about it I thought was neat, was Jarvis taking May out on a date.

Honestly I don't know what this says about Marvel or zeitgeist in general, but something tells me I should be worried despite being amused.
