Generic Inv/SS build.

Got bored after my net crapped out tonight so did some planning. This is what I think would be the perfect Invul/SS build for anyone.
You get good offense, good defense, good aggro control and overall a quite capable soloer and grouper.. You sit in the middle of the overly offensive tank and the heavily defensive tank.

If anyone is thinking of make an Inv/SS tank, as most people do at one point or another in their time playing this game, this is the build I recommend:

Great build, Ver - thanks! I'll be looking at this when I respec Umoja.  Some questions:

1) What does a damage enhancer do for Dull Pain?

2) Are you not a fan of the passives?  My tank's at the stage (32) where elemental and energy damage have really kicked in, and I'm feeling like I'll be at a disadvantage without those two resistences. 

3) A while back you expressed the opinion that Rage is more essential for a solo-focused build.  Do you still recommend Rage for a more team-oriented tank (which is what I, in my better moments, try to be  :) )?

I love Rage, because it feels like you can not only take the damage, but you can dish it out as well.  You just have to use it wisely and communicate with your team.

Ugh, the stupid hero builder screws up on me every time I shut it down and than load up a saved build. I thought I found all the damn mistakes it made.

Hell, come to think of it the builder doesn't actually let you put acc's in swift.....

Ok,

1) Builder screwed up...you can't even put dmg in dull pain...

2) I am, but when you get down to it, the passives provide only a small amount of protection. Great if you're going for maximum survivability, but for an active tank that likes to solo or actually hit alot on teams, they're not accomplishing much. Hence why I put in aid self. That power alone has many times the protection the passives provide, and with IO's it has become much easier to use thanks to Interruption IO's at 50. Seriously, unless you crunch numbers, you won't even notice you don't have the 2 E passives if you're using aid self.

3) Yes I'm still on the idea rage is for soloing, but that's from my heavy on defense mindset. What inspired me to make this build was watching KO and Tort roll. Not everyone can deal with pathetic damage, and that's basically what you get without rage. This build is all about making the tank as fun as possible, and rage can achieve that goal. The one problem with the build you may run into is if you take hasten. The 2 end drops from both rage and hasten can prove problematic, hence why I put it at the end of the build, hoping by than you'll be experienced enough to manage them. An SS tank with hasten and Rage won't actually be doing scrapper damage but ti sure will feel like it.

B A D

Rage can be used effectively in a team setting, even a team full of nothing but squishies. As your ragey thingy icon blinks up top, you fire off that last taunt. That will for the most part lock down the bad guys while you cant draw aggro by punching. Ive done it for weeks on end with Black Thirteen,and It works like a charm. Ive even stopped shouting "rage drop" because doing it that way no one even notices.

Now this one goes for a moderately expensive IO set approach. Some of the pieces are fairly expensive, but the majority should be attainable. There are crazier IO builds out there, but most of us aren't going to bother or come up with the moolah for them. This build will comfortably take advantage of IO's and make your toon more fun to play.
