Revenant

Here's a thread for the non-Timmverse stuff I'm workin on.

First up, I updated the Wonder Woman skin for Tommyboy's new meshes that have fingers.. what can I say, i missed ips' WW keyframes  ^_^ I'm a believer in having more options for characters anyway.  This hex uses Ink's hair parts and Renegade's lasso.  I did some correction to her face, using Terry Dodson's as the model (instead of the Adam Hughes face from before) Most of the color on the suit comes from reflections.. i was trying to capture the high contrast look they have going for the reds.

Here's another preview:

Lunarman

She looks like Stacey out of Hustle

That is one incredible/should I say wonderous skin.

Great work Rev

Podmark

Very nice work Revenant. The skope is very well done, though the hair looks kinda lopsided but I think it's just the angle of the pic. Interesting way of doing the red, I think I'd need to see it in the ctool to really guage how I like it.

detourne_me

Oh man!   looking gorgeous as always!

i'm looking forward to seeing what youre gonna do with the Amazons Attack too!

any plans on a Circe at all?

Revenant

Thanks all,

Pod the hair isn't symmetrical, I think its the preview pic that makes it look lopsided.  It has the same pieces on each side but they are rotated differently.  It could do for a bit more tweaking though

Detourne, Circe is definitely coming soon!  She's always a Rumble Room fave of mine.  I want to figure out how to make her 'transform' spell only work on males.

I just got the new NifSkope. and I recommend it for everybody who skins... for the sole fact that the Uvmap editing feature ROCKS... i can't really describe the sheer awesomeness of it, with words.  Any mesh that has weird mapping.. or feet that just can't be skinned.. or shins that defy looking the way you want them to.. it's so easy to fix it

When this skin /hex is released, I hope to have just one targa file with all the parts (tiara, rope, hair) mapped to it, to save space.  Yes you can do that, too (set all the bits to the same targa file and move the mapping around)

Podmark

intriguing, something I should look into...

Revenant

It will finally be possible to skin that elusive female mesh with the distortions around the chest

Curse you Rev!  Now I've got to change WW again! ^_^

So wait, You had a thread that was originally dedicated to stuff like this, but now you've had to move it to this second one? I don't understand, unless... OMG! All your recent skins have been villains! They must have taken over your thread, exiling your regular skins to this place. By the Cheesey Pizza toppings, how long before they SPREAD!?! Life as we know it is over!!!!

Or this theory could be a side efeect of not taking my meds yet, you decide.

Anyway, about this skin... as always, I'm blown away by the quality of your skin work, though I must admit, that hair might be a bit too complicated. I dunno, from the front it looks perfect, but at an angle it just looks weird.

Really!?!?!?!?!  Oh, mien gott, I must say that is grand and overly wonderful for all skinners.  Course, I don't think we could outdo ye version of WW...I mean, damn...come 'ere honey....ummm....just ignore me.  *hides in the corner with his bottle of vodka*

UnkoMan

Yeah, your Timmverse are amazing (just saw Atomic Skull. God, I love his design. Flaming green skull, how can you go wrong) but I too missed your more realistic work. It's really amazing how you can alternate between the two so dang well, and have them both look like a million bucks.

And new Nifskope, you say? Guess I ought to take a look soon.

Peerless1

As for this WW...She looks so Wonder-ful that if I was not ill, I'd ask her out.  One day I have to get around to reading an nifSkope tutorial, because your comments tell me I'm missing out on a lot of features.

I'm having a problem with 'floating mesh pieces' in-game... so the release of WW will be delayed for a bit.  Gotta try Tommyboy's solution for ghosting mesh pieces.  Otherwise, if you play this mesh in the game her hair and rope will fly off with a mind of their own

I did fix her hair though, here's a 180 degree preview:

No need to lasso me, Princess Diana...but ah...go ahead!  ;)

Revenant

Yes thats the rogue idle, I like the heroic stance :)
Indeed they are female_basic compatible, that's why I had to use it.. I missed your Wondy keyframes!

Podmark

It's weird for some reason I had gotten it into my head that the tom fingered meshes weren't compatible with other keyframes. I'm glad to hear I was wrong.

Things are looking good Rev! You've done some very impressive Wonder Woman work.

Revenant

Grab your Moly and head for the hills...

Here's Circe, I used Ink's Scarlet Witch Gypsy mesh as the base.  The head dress was made from Wanda's headpiece, with alphas enabled.  Arm guards are from Ink's Jean Grey mesh.  The herbs clasped in her belt are made from the shield on Accessory Girl, again using alphas.  The keyframes I'm using are ips' Jean Grey, it gives her some impressive stances and uber-sorceress moves.

Mystik

hey rev any chance you'll update your wondergirl?

Monkeyman

Great skins as usual, but just wondering, when are you gonna release some of your older skins like that amazing gl, vixen, and hawkgirl?

Revenant

Circe will be awhile because I have been running into the problem of 'floating mesh pieces'

Since I used a FF1 mesh as the base, apparently you have to live with all the add-ons flying off in every direction in the game when the mesh moves.

I had been working with Vertex's meshes up til now, and they are exported with FF2's exporters, so I didn't have to worry about this before...

If you look further up in the thread I explained what happened to those skins.. Hawkgirl is available

Podmark

Wow impressive skin, I hope you get the mesh under control.

Revenant

Wasn't successful with the solution of adding NiSkinPartition from an existing mesh (I think the geometries were different), I switched the hex over to a Vertex mesh:

For Wondy, I managed to get most of the floating pieces under control.  These'll be released with Hal Jordan and Vixen, if Fates are kind to me... or was that the Muses.. same difference!

Lunarman

That Circe skin is simply amazing. All that detail is top notch.

I think I need to see it in CTool to really understand it, there's too much to take in, lol
