Yes thats the rogue idle, I like the heroic stance :)
Indeed they are female_basic compatible, that's why I had to use it.. I missed your Wondy keyframes!

I am sorry, as this is not really the place for this, but your comment stirs me.  I recently downloaded Tom's new finger meshes (love 'em).  So far though, they only seem to work with Ink's Fire, Ice, Jean Grey and the Speedy 2 kfs.  Any thoughts?

You keep raising the bar, Rev.  Great stuff!

I just took a closer look, and by Lucifer's light!  It's all swirly!  *hides the rum in case it's an alcohol-induced hallucination*

Wasn't successful with the solution of adding NiSkinPartition from an existing mesh (I think the geometries were different), I switched the hex over to a Vertex mesh:

Well...i know you have a great deal more experience and expertise at this than I, but if you still have the original, and would like me to take a look...All my recent requests are filled (except my offer to Pod...missing meshes...), so I would be glad to see if dumb luck and a lot of spare time can figure it out.  Sometimes, as stupid as she is, lady luck actually sides with me in this kind of thing.  Either way, the standard or vx version of Circe are downright evil in their detail.  I appreciate that.   ;)

detourne_me

stunning stuff again homie!

I'm glad to see Diana has someone to really beat on again!
i kind of prefer the vx version,  because of all of the sorceress style kf's   so thats good news in my book!

:D

Revenant

So you like the magic-users on VX meshes, huh?  Were you reading my mind, or spying on me Detourne??

Here's Zatanna, skoped from a Vertex mesh, with some parts made by Ink.  The hat and bow-tie had to come from her dear old dad (Vx_Zatara)

The skin is my JLH skin from before, updated for the vx geometry.  The face still needs work though, I can't figure out why I don't like it... maybe after I take a break I'll see it.

The Enigma

Re: the face; I think the nose is far too long, the eyebrows are too thick and too arched and the eyes themselves possibly a little too wide and a little too far apart. I know you want a slightly cartoonish look, but I think you've gone a little overboard there. Otherwise, it's a fantastic skin (but you know that already).

lugaru

Yeah, I googled some pics and that's kind of the way she's drawn but I would take care of that area between the two eyebrows and where the nose starts... in other words get rid of some of the nose that goes past her eyeballs and shape those eyebrows a little. I know a place that will trim those eyebrows for $6, hehehe. Otherwise she looks a little like aishwarya rai, which is a good thing.

Revenant

Corrected her face, and finished the skin for the other hex... I just need to find a cool-looking snake/dragon head to place on her head dress...

yell0w_lantern

That is a very alluring face. Looks familiar though - like an girl that was in a pirate movie within the last couple of years.

Revenant

Kiera Knightley, eh???  I wish I could say I modeled Zee after her, but I actually didn't use a real-person model this time.. I mostly went from Brian Bolland's illustrations, one of my favorite takes on the character.  But thinking about her now, Kiera does have a really magic quality to her, I could definitely see her playing the part of Zatanna if they made a movie about her.  She seems like she's descended from a long-lost race of magic-users

djfredski

  awesone work Rev!

the_ultimate_evil

ahh god damn it,

*fires in process zatanna skin in the to rubbish*

DOOD COME ON

Revenant

I guess this one would technically be an FX.. but all I did was re-skin the 'whirlwind' FX, take a few of the layers and sparks away... and made a start nif for the ww_goldenlasso FX.  I'm working on the rest of the FX.  It has a good core/beam, and I'm using the speed decrease end nif, since it really looks like glowing ropes going around the target (and I think it expands to fit large foes) Here's a pic from the game, and another one of the Zatanna hex:

DOOD COME ON

You better finish that skin!! What mesh is it on?

Previsionary

Those FX, and the skins, look remarkably good... *feels threatened...grabs a bat* :P

Keep up the good work, sir Rev. It'll be especially interesting, to me, to see what other fx you got up your sleeves.

CF Kane

Revenant, I'm blown away. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Previsionary.. sorry if there already is a start.nif for that golden lasso FX, the thing is, mine never had one.  I have a knack for installing things in the wrong directories though.   ;)

I tried with a few nifs until I stumbled upon the whirlwind, and after hexing the scale down a bit, it looked just right.

I have some Zatanna FX coming, inspired by the JLH, I just need to find a good, hopping bunny rabbit... Mostly they are re-colors of the Green Genie FX.

laughing paradox

That is some amazing work, Rev. I always enjoy your work...your Black Canary is one of my favorite characters to use.

Tell me you're working on a Dr. Poison real soon. *fingers crossed*

Revenant

I will be, I think the new-Earth Dr. Poison is very similar to the pre-Infinite Crisis version in appearance?

UnkoMan

Augh, stop being so good! No, I take it back.

You even manage to make Zatanna's retarded blue costume look... well no, I still don't like it, but it's depicted really nicely. Still, I'll use the fishnets and tophat, thanks.

Those eyebrows still look weird to me, though. I'm guessing it's the mapping that's doing it now. The thick, skinny, thick thing is odd, is all.

But whatever. Everything else is totally solid.

Revenant

WIP: Hex is by Detourne_Me, available on his thread (I had to make some very minor alterations for the skin, like UV map editing)

Lunarman

Do you try to leave me speechless?

Once again Rev that is surely the most amazing Hawkman that the Nth metal has ever seen!
The wings are incredible!

Tomato

Hmmm... This is pretty awesome work Rev, Completely baddass skinwork here. Couple of things on the hex though... see if you can't find something to bring the cheeks out a bit, or manipulate the mask in some way too ofset the size of those brows. Also, I'd look for some meshed round kneepads, rather then putting them straight on the legs like that, it always looks really poor no matter how good the skinning is.

Podmark

Thats looking really good! really really impressive. Hawkman is looking really baddass.

Blkcasanova247

:eek2: Holy crap on a crap cracker! Excellent! I've been wanting somebody to skin the current costume. Very, very nice  ....I only wish that the harness for the wings was a separate peice. But you done a great job to give it that feel. Oh...one other thing...I'd give him a little more body hair.

Revenant

Thanks everybody.  This skin is going to spin-off into a base skin, since I haven't ever done one.  It'll be a male_muscular base, and then some variation like costume and plain-clothes which I'll release, and I think I'll concentrate on the VX meshes body-types

Hey Tomato, I fixed the mask.. I had enlarged it a bit because part of the head underneath was poking through.  Now it's back to normal size but I pulled it forward a teeeeny bit to cover the face.

I'm going to look for some kneepads too, I agree about having them skinned on look bad..

I haven't found any thin chest straps that would work for this version of Hawkman though.  The ones from tommyboy's versatile mesh are hard to position on other meshes, and they might look too thick...EDIT: Nevermind, thank you  Casanova, I just checked my email, you're a gentleman and a scholar!!!

Blkcasanova247

You know I wonder how many times a person can use the the word "Awesome" and it not get old? Ahhh who gives a frack! Awesome! I didn't say earlier but those abs are...killer...can't wait to see that base skin!

Revenant

Forgot to post these pics, the finished Silver Age Zatanna on VX_Female.  It has parts by Ink. EDIT: oops, I should have touched up her eyebrows.  And added a red strap for her head-gear (sometimes it is pictured connecting the side pieces to the center piece sitting on her head)

Dr.Volt

I very much like the Zatanna skin...excellent face.  And Hawkman...WOW!!  Very, very cool!  Love the costume look.  And he definitely looks formidable!  As always, very nice work!

Podmark

Very impressive. Your skoping skills are as good as your skinning skills.

BentonGrey

Curse you Rev, that Hawkman is fantastic!  Haha, once again you give me pause about the version I am using! ^_^

Revenant

Ok I'll finally be releasing some stuff...

This hex adds the GL symbol and a glowing aura around the ring to Renegade's HAL_GL mesh.  You'll need the keyframes from the original mesh.
