Is there a way to run FFvTTR in a window?

I'm asking because I just got a widescreen monitor, and even though FFvTTR supports widescreen resolutions, it just stretches the game to fit that resolution.  My monitor also automatically stretches any other resolutions to fit its native resolution, so that stretches the game as well.

If I could run it in a window, the aspect ratio would be correct.

Yes, you can easily run FFVTTR in a window.

1. Find the FFVTTR "shortcut". You can only do the following steps with the shortcut .exe file and not the main one.

2. Open up the shortcut's property window.

3. Click over to the shortcut tab

4. In the target window, you should see something like this: "...Irrational Games\Freedom Force vs The 3rd Reich\ffvt3r.exe"  <----full path is truncated. You'd see the full path.

5. At the end of the target line add -w. Your target should now resemble this:  "...Irrational Games\Freedom Force vs The 3rd Reich\ffvt3r.exe" -w

6. The next time you start the game using the shortcut, it should start in a window.

I probably should have mentioned that I am an experienced computer user.  You could have saved yourself some typing, since I'm quite familiar with modifying shortcuts.  I guess this way benefits other users too though.
