Newb question..

Hey, I'm awful at the technical stuff behind FFvt3r. I only JUST (after 2 years) worked out how to install skins/meshes.

If i want to install a mod for vs3reich, where do I save it to? Do I need a new folder for it or something?

     What mod are you trying to install?  Many mods have install programs that will install them automatically; at most you will have to point them at your  :ffvstr: directory...

All mods should be installed/unzipped in your Main FFVTTR directory. Check the FR Wiki for more information:

I too am having trouble. I'm trying install the Batman and/or Spider-man listed on this site. I have tried everything but it just starts up in normal  :ffvstr: mode.  Please help. I have tried the link given but didn't work.

What do I need to do?

First, you should probably tell us what you did. If you followed the instructions correctly, everything should work fine.

1. Unzip the mod using winrar or some other similar program if it doesnt come with an installer

2. Place the mod folder (IE: a folder with the mod name.) In your FFVTTR folder
   - That's normally here: C:\Program Files\Irrational Games\Freedom Force vs The 3rd Reich <---it may be different to you

3. Inside the mod folder is usually a shortcut made specifically for that mod, double click it and the mod should be working.

4. Some mods have obvious signs of working such as a different start screen and music, others dont.

Thank , I got it to work today thanks to your help and the guide in technical issues.   It is cool that the mods work on their own kind of so you could have lots in your one game.
