Thanos with Infinity Gauntlet

Hey guys, it's been quite awhile since I read the Infinity Gauntlet and War so I'm honestly kinda lost on how to give my Thanos a decent hero file.

I intend to make him powerful (with respect to his Infinity Gauntlet) yet not overpowered with regards to gameplay.

I'm using USAgent's Thanos hero file with the stats as it is..

STR = 9
SPD = 5
AGL =7
END = 10
ENG = 10 (it used to be 9 but I thought because of the Infinity Gauntlet...)

And as for his powers, this is what I came up with (I based it here so feel free to correct any flaws):

Power - beam - energy
I thought of making an energy manipulation to represent it as a beam.  I think it's fairly reasonable since Thanos almost blasts anyone who gets in his way as I've read in the comics.

Space - special - teleport
Well, the wiki, although unreliable you mght say, says that the space gem can travel through space, mostly thru teleportation, so there, 'nuff said.

Time  - area - decrease/special
Ok, based on Infinity Gauntlet 3, the first wave of attack by Thor, Firelord, Namor and Iron Man were halted when Thanos froze time itself.  I actually first chose stasis/special but I thought it's overpowered enough so for the sake of not being overpowered, I just chose decrease/special which slows down the enemy.

Mind - area - panic/special
Again, accdg to the wiki, the mind gem has unlimited psionic abilities such as telepathy and telekinesis.  Just plain and simple that I doon't think a telekinetic attribute suits Thanos, so I just thought he'd manipulate his weak minded enemies into their own fears.

Reality - direct - purgatory/special
Now this is what I need most of the help.  I don't know anything better on how to implement the power of the reality gem other than making the enemies reality in a different dimension so I guess purgatory will do the trick? Corrections pls?

Soul - direct - energy leech
Observe,attack, or even steal a being's soul the soul gem can do.  So the closest thing I can get in FFX is energy leech I guess.

So this is it.   I need suggestions, comments and violent reactions with any flaws I made with power of the Infinity Gems from comic veterans of the series, especially USAgent and TaskMasterX.

Also, I need help on how much damage, stun, knockback, amount of energy used, etc on all those 6 powers, like badly.  I was able to take out Galactus, Superman, Magneto and Dr Doom all at the same time, that's how insanely strong my Thanos is :doh:

USAgent

That is pretty good for a start for e Infinity Gauntlet Thanos, but you really can't represent him in the freedom Force to his fullest, he can do anything he wants with the gauntlet and there is nothing that can stop it. He is only limited to his own mind.  For someone that can conquer all the cosmic beings "except the Tribunal" with a thought, representing that in a game that is basicly built for street level type of charaters is gonna be tough.
But we can do our best.

The Power gem- you should give him beams and area blasts maxed out along with a maxed out melee attack (he shattered Captain America's shield in one smash)
Space gem- teleportation and maybe a teleportation state swap beam attack.
Time gem- direct and area density control and statis attacks, I would stick with statis.
Mind gem- any mental type attacks (panic, hypnosis, rage) and imunity to mental attacks
reality- yes, this is a tough one, probably the puppet master attribute, Alteration attack, power null (he removed Starfox's mouth to stop him from using his manipulitive voice, sealed up cyclop's head to stop him from blasting)
soul gem- Adam Warlock used his to trap souls in another dimension, so i would think pergatory and energy leach would work as well.

That is just a little start to help some off the top of my head.

Agent, you think it's reasonable enough that I give him 10 for his Energy or should I just stick with 9?

With the Power Gem, I gave him a beam, I actually copied your Energy Blast from your Thanos hero file. :P

Damage type = Energy
Magnitude = Extreme
EP Cost = Low
Stun = Low
Knockback = Extreme
Velocity = Fast
Range = Long
Accuracy = High

Is this ok for a Power Gem beam or anything I need to change?  Is it fair to give it an Extreme knockback with only a Low EP Cost?

Agent, can you give me a balanced stats for an Area blast?  Balancing is not one of my strongest points. :doh:

EDIT: LOL!  I was looking back at Marvel vs Capcom game and I remembered Thanos has Gauntlet Reality super where he trembles the ground with two slabs of rock acting as a projectile.  Hmmm....

USAgent

For his energy stat, if you could you should give him 100! That is with the gauntlet, so a 10 will have to do. He is so powerful he shouldnt have to worry about using any energy up at all.
For the power gem energy beam I would keep it the same except make it a level 5 extreme damage attack and maybe penetrating so he could take out multiple heroes. He keep the extreme knockback with the low energy cost, he should be able to take out anyone with a single blast.
For a area energy attack I would make it the same as the beam with a medium or large radius and a medium EP cost.

Indigo

Ah good, glad you agreed with me on giving him a 10 for Energy.

So that's sums up on Power.  ^_^

Now I'll just try to come up with some good stats for the other Infinity Gems.
