I cannot seem to get earth earth controller to work on on FFX for  :ffvstr: I believe I am using version three any tips?

You probably want to make sure you are using FFX 3.2 at this point. It will be a little tough to get help on the earlier versions, if they are what you are using, particularly if it's something that has changed between versions. (I don't recall if EARTH CONTROL is one of the changed attributes or not.)

Also, there is a thread dedicated to FFX bugs (mysteriously named "FFX 3.2 Bug Reporting Thread") that you will want to check out. You may not read the whole thread, but at least read the early post concerning how to describe and report a bug. A good description is your best bet for getting help. And, once you know how to describe your problem, you can try to use the search feature to see if the fix had already been posted.

I just looked and yes I am using version 3.2  What is happening is literally  nothing.  I have given earth controller to 2 characters with both of them after setting them in FFXEdit and all the of the things that you do to set up characters i.e. Ai. Generator, Power ID Generator.  After setting the characters up neither of them have the earth controller options like spike and wall do not exist in the power selection.

For the spike and the wall you can't just create them anywhere ... you have to have an enemy targeted first (which I didn't understand the first time I tried it in 3.2. Did it change sometime between 2.6 and 3.2?)

Try this:
1) Select the character with earth control.
2) Now right-click on an enemy

Do the earth control options show up in the menu?

While running the RR mission with the character w/ Earth Control, Alt-Tab out of the game and open the script.log file in your FFvTTR game folder and do a search for the word "error" (w/out the quotes). If you find an error, post the error, including the 10 lines above the error and the 10 lines after the error.
