Who would like more sound effects?

NOTE: I don't know if this should be located here, but probably FX fans visit this board more frequently than Sounds/Voices. As I need their feedback here, I thought this would be the appropriate place to post this.


I was thinking of something that Revenant suggested me in the past, and that is to create, alongside voicepacks, some sound effect packs with the powers from X-Men Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

I'm busy with VPs, but I've been thinking about this lately. Would anyone be interested in this? I mean, it could allow you to have different sounds for similar powers, and then, for instance, Man O' War's lightning bolt wouldn't sound exactly like Storm's or Electro's.

I'd like to know what you think about this project. I can extract XML/MUA sound effects quite easily, and I'm thinking a quick mention of the power would be appropiate. I guess a readme file that links the power with the sound file should suffice.

Yes, pls do.  I'm not sure everyone here nitpicks about the sound effects they have but deep inside they think "this sound doesn't really match with this attack type", because I do. :P

If it would be not much of a trouble, pls got for it.  I'm definitely interested with new sound and hit effects for FFvt3r. :)

I don't have JLH with me at the moment (it was a gift for my little brother, who lives in another city). But as soon as I get it, I'll be experimenting with its sound files and see what I can extract from there. I'm thinking all 7 main heroes (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, GL John Stewart, Flash, Martian Manhunter, Zatanna) plus unlockables (Huntress, GL Hal Jordan/Kyle Rayner, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Hawkgirl) and villains will have VPs, if everything turns out alright. I'll see if the sound files for both Supergirl and Black Canary are there, or if I can get a PSP copy somewhere.

The sound effects from City of heroes are very good & has sounds for almost any power that you can think of - Only added the Powers, Weapons, & Enemy various sounds - They are in OGG format so I use the free program Audacity to view, edit, turn ((Mono)) & export to ((Wave)) - All sounds must be made Mono if there not already so they will play in  :ffvstr: correctly - I'll Post up the City of Villains sounds tommarow :blink:
