NPI Weapons Pack

Okay, I have the weapons pack, and have read the instructions, but how do I install them so they can be used with the Weaponsmaster attribute in FFX?

Also, I have a bunch of other weapons in various formats, nary a .nif among them. Can someone tell me where some instruction are that will let me change them to .nifs so I can use them? There are all sorts of interesting guns, and one classic phaser.
