I guess because it's around halloween and people are talking about screams that this oft-overused scream is in the spotlight. Apparenlty it's very popular with the Indianna Jones people as you can see.

[spoiler]I don't know who this Wilhem guy is. So i gave the video a look, to see what this is all about. Then, different shows, then noticed that they all had but one thing in common. That funny scream. :P But it sure is very funny hearing that very same scream over and over again from the different shows. :roll: At first i thought, was there a scream like that on the show? Because I know i watched some of them and i can't seem to recall those screams. :lol: And the longer i watched it, i figured they were all fake. But nevertheless it was very very funny to watch! :lol: [/spoiler]

Ha, was rewatching Transformers on DVD...didn't realise the radio Wilhelm-screamed when his head gets punted by boxer-shorted Sam. HA! Now I gotta keep my eye out even more, if it can get in there it can get in anywhere. And it's gonna be so much fun playing the Wilhelm game in the cinema :D

I"d never heard of the Wilhelm scream until I heard it on a first season episode of American Dad, but since then I've heard it many times.

No, the scream is real man. It's been exaggerated in some cases (it's intended as just background noise, so in some cases it's made nearly impossible to hear) but I've heard it used in many of the clips they showed, so I know it's not a hoax.

For instance, in the latest Chuck, when the guy gets shot in the knee, that is clearly the Wilhelm Scream
