Mod Help

 :ffvstr: Hi I am a newbie...I was wondering if someone could explain what a Mod would do to the game?  Also, are they dangerous for your computer?  Will I be able to run the game normally after installing a mod?  Thanks.

A mod (short for "modification") allows you to play a user-created modified version of the game. This is usually a different campaign instead of the built-in missions, often with different characters (Liberty Bay, Guardians, Matrix Reloaded, Fantastic Four, etc.). It can also change the interface (none yet) or the game mechanics (CustomForce2: play the FFvsTTR missions with any character; FFX 3: adds a few hundred attributes and powers, new AI, and easier modding; Patriot City, non-linear campaign).

While installing anything on your computer always presents some small risk, mods shouldn't cause problems. They normally install in different subfolders of FFvsTTR, leaving the original "data" folder untouched. They are also started using a different shortcut instead of the normal game's, which you can still run without changes.
