I've been going through a bit of a surreal phase in my webcomic diet, A Softer World, Perry Bible Fellowship and the like.

That said, is anyone else reading Seamonster by Nathan Castle (mature stuffs, no link, google it)? Maybe it's the fact that I can identify with the main character's situation, but it's very surreal and poigniant.

So yeah, anyone? Bueller?

I like clever weirdness.

That was just weirdness for weirdness' sake. There's no punchline, no plot twang, nuthin'.

Midnight

Well, there's mainly no punchline because it's not done, but I can see your qualms.

I think what Spud means is that there really isn't anything moving the story along.. just more and more weird points being introduced with no real 'hook' pulling the readers along.. you keep getting introduced to weird stuff, hoping you'll see a reason eventually, but nothing ever gets any closure...

I personally found it just didn't keep my attention, and while the visuals are good, they're not good enough to carry the lack of story in my opinion..
