Atomic Robo

Hey, anybody out there reading Atomic Robo from Red5? More here:  http://www.red5comics.com/?cat=7


It comes highly recommended by a friend who hasn't steered me wrong yet.  Here's what he said:

"I just discovered a new and amazing comic called ATOMIC ROBO! It's like Mike Mignola's HELLBOY, but funnier and less Gothy. ATOMIC ROBO has Nazis, robots, and monsters. Ya can't go wrong with Nazis, robots, and monsters." 

Red 5 it's from a new indie company which some people are predicting is going to give Marvel and DC some serious competition.  AR is only on #2...iow, a good jumping on point.

My local comic book store has ordered #1 and 2 for me.  I can't wait to read it!  More to come....and we'll see if Al was right.

I saw at my LCS and would have given it a shot, but, there were too many books being released this week on my pull list, I had to pass it up. :(

If my LCS still has it this Wednesday I'll give it a shot.

Ok, just got and finished Atomic Robo #1 and 2 and...THEY ROCK!!!  Really funny, great art, and very well written.  Also, the way it's written over time is very unique and unusual.  I won't ruin it for those who want to read this book.  But again, I can give it a proper  :thumbup:.  Iow, if you can, go get this book!
