I have a lot of people that I would like help with making but I think most have a thread already.

Can someone give me some for Invincible, Sentry, WW Hulk. Miracleman. Theres others so if anyone has any links to threads for Marvel and D.C hero files I would be grateful.

EDIT

I have got some I like but I don't know how to give my template character their powers/attributes etc. How do I do it? Its for VS.

I don't know how to use Yahoo.  <_<

But the second one, where do I put the file in the characters folder and do I have to delete my current one.

bat1987

Which game do you have  :ff: or  :ffvstr: ?

aj4life16

bat1987

The hero file path is    C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\Local Settings\Application Data\Irrational Games\Freedom Force vs the 3rd Reich\Custom\Heroes

aj4life16

My path is:

C:\Mycomputer\programfiles\[PC]FreedomForcevsThe3rdReich[dopeman]\Freedom Force vs The 3rd Reich\Then art and a bunch of others then characters.

Would I just stick the "black adam.hero" file in the Black adam folder with character.nif and "characterhex" (BTW what is the hex file?)

Or in the skins folder?

bat1987

No dude, my  :ffvstr: path is similar to yours, but your hero files should be in the folder I mentioned in the above post.
Hex is a modification of an existing mesh with some new features.

I just tried moving the files the way you said by now FF3 isn't working, can't find the file.

In fact now none of it is working. Damn dude.

Can someone help because I put them back and it still wont work.  :banghead:

bat1987

Not all of the files, just hero files! Jeez

aj4life16

Well I wish I knew that. Now it closes. What can I do to fix it?

bat1987

Try to put them back. If that doesn`t work, re-install the game.
If u need anything just ask,but next time follow the instructions carefully, I clearly said that you should only copy hero files.

aj4life16

Yeah just noticed that.

I haven't really added anything apart from characters and done a few levels.

If I save the characters somewhere else and reinstall everything then put the chars back will everything be back to the start accept for characters?

So I make a separate folder in freedom force folder and stick the .heros in there.

Or do I stick the .heros in the file of the character its name dafter.

So folder black adam needs black adam.hero in there. Any specific name?

It might be the vs extension FF3 because its stopped working again.

Like bat1987 said, Hero files go in here:
C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\Local Settings\Application Data\Irrational Games\Freedom Force vs the 3rd Reich\Custom\Heroes

That is the only place hero files go, in the "Heroes" folder located in that exact location listed above.  And the only files that go in the "Heroes" folder are Hero files (black adam.hero) and any AI files for those characters.

aj4life16

That order doesn't help sorry because I downloaded mine so its in different order.

So.

So the .heros and A.I's go altogether in one folder not with the actual character file.

I shall have to try this, but gotta wait till I get my game working.

Also, creating a shortcut to get to your 'character' file on your desktop should make things easier to manage.

correct, .heros and their AI files go in the "heroes" folder

aj4life16

Its getting annoying now because I do exactly as you say but when I turn on the game and go to new etc they are still depowered.

I want the .heros mostly for my fliers because I have no in air attacks so they all just fly around each other.

If anyone would do a Invincible hero files they could use this topic as a guide.
