Pink aura around a mesh?

I had downloaded np_queen_bee a long time ago for Freedom Force and had just found it on a disk, so I said hey, let me bring it to :ffvstr:. However, there is a pink aura around her that shows up everywhere and I don't know how to get rid of it.

Here's what I mean:

She looks fine when I first view her in CharacterTool

Then I notice the pink aura when I move her around

It's even more noticeable when she tries to fly

I opened up NifViewer (even if I have not one iota of a clue what to do with it) and I got this.

It's such an amazing mesh and skin that I definitely would love to fix this aberration. Anyone have any clues or could send me somewhere that would fix this matter? Thanks a lot!

it's not reading the tga that corresponds to the attached FX... typically it's fire.tga or somesuch. check to see if you have it in the appropriate folder, and if not, create a black 64x64 in an image program that supports tgas and name it fire.tga

Wow, I dont even have that skin anymore! I would assume making it ready for :ffvstr: unhexed the fxs. I'd just go in and delete it.

So I tried the fire.tga, and it did make the pink glow leave, but the fx is still there hindering the mesh. Instead of pink, the CharacterTool shows that it's white, to match the background. (Check the flying picture in my original post. It's like the white spot there hiding the mesh.) I tried the mesh without converting it, but it's the same thing.

Is there a way to hex that part off the mesh or something?

did you fill in the fire tga with black. because it will reflect any other colour

Yes, I made certain I colored the fire.tga black. The white discoloration continues to show when positioned from the side or flying or from above.

I'll send that mesh when I get an opportunity.

Ok, I believe that the reason I kept viewing the fx was because of the graphics card on my PC. I've viewed the character on a laptop and everything was peachy keen.

I'll be sending the mesh to all who wanted it.
