It's the moment you've all been waiting for! (well, most of you :P )

The first 3 missions (5 levels ) of the DOD mod are out. They follow the forming of The DOD and their fighting of crime in Patriot City.

Go to http://thedod.freedomforceforever.com/ and click on The Mod for more info and a downloads page.

Enjoy

Its awesome lunar, but i was stopped by a problem.

Right after i took out crimeboss nr 2 on the ship and we were going back to the base, it just froze in the black screen before loading.

i opened Console and it said something like "error while loading base to campaign, cannot find objects" or something like that :,(

im loving the mod tho, its great fun...i was supposed to go to sleep 4 hours ago :P

That's the end of Issue 1, but it ain't supposed to end like that.

I had that problem first time, but it worked on the second time. I'll do more testing today, but I really don't know why. I put it down to the fact that FFVTTR doesn't get on too well with my mate Vista. but if you're having the same problem in XP...hmmm

Lunarman

Well, that is the end of the mod but in order to end on a base mission here is a little patch.

All it does is add the 4th mission (which is finished, but not really ready for public release yet. no doubt some of you will play it anyway :P ) so that the base level does load.

I don't know why this happened, I've been loading that Base Level without a mission after it for ages, today it just decided to stop listening.

Simply copy this mission folder over the current one in C:\Program Files\Irrational Games\Freedom Force Vs The 3rd Reich\DOD\Missions

I finally got around to playing this, and I'm glad I did. It was a blast! (In fact I stayed up late playing it instead of playing any of my shiny new Xmas toys.)

Nice work on the maps--I liked the use of the FF1 stuff, as well as the retextured buildings.

Release the killer bees!
