So since i picked up a Nintendo DS i've really gotten into the homebrew and stuff for it (which is why iu haven't been around here much, or done anything FF related)
and well i just heard news of this today... heres the link

Considering how popular Starcraft is in Korea, I'm surprised the homebrew is actually from France.

This reminds me of one of the guys I used to work with... the dude was a big on homebrews, it totally blew my mind when I saw him playing Super Mario 64 on his XBox.

Bit of a Starcraft fan myself.

It would be really sweet if they could make a good translation of the PC version.

I've been looking for some worthwhile games for the DS too. This one would have surely made my day if it wasn't still in the developing stages. :P

Thanks for the heads up. At least i have something to look forward to.

Besides of course the upcoming Starcraft 2 pc game. ^_^

I dont know of any good RTS for the DS. However, if you like adventure games, your cup runneth over.

Final Fantasy XII is a great RTS game! and its also one of my favourite games in trhe franchise too.  also the warhammer game is pretty darn cool too.
theres quite a few good RPG's and turn based strategies too.

SnowMan

oh man i need to get homebrew for my ds, so then i can myspace it up all times.

I liked the Final Fantasy rpg series. I had played them on SNES,Playstation and PS2. The story and later on the graphics was what drew me to them. I tried my hand on Final Fantasy Tactics but just couldn't take it. So i'm a little wary of Final Fantasy RTS. Currently playing a gameboy RTS game on the DS, SuperRobotWars.

Not much of a mario adventure type fan. The last adventure games i enjoyed playing were Hulk Ultimate Destruction,Metal Gear Solid 3,Resident Evil 4,and Tenchu.

I might consider a good wrestling game. Like what was mentioned in another thread. I haven't really tried any fighting games for the DS. Though i really liked playing Tekken 5 on my brother's PSP. ^_^

I haven't really tried any card battle games too. So i am considering it too. Like Yu-gi-oh?...

One of the best RTS games (or more accurately, RPRTS- role-playing real time strategy) I've played on DS recently was Final Fantasy: Revenant Wings. No, it's nothing like FF: Tactics advance, FF: war of the lions, or FF: tactics advance 2, so it might actually be up to your liking. Basically, you summon monsters and treat them like your own little army. Just think of it as a fantasy version of advanced wars (which I used to play on Dreamcast and GBA) but actually, you know, in real time.

Yu-gi-oh games are hit and miss. It really depends on if you're an existing fan and can sit around playing the card game for that long. The last card game I played was either the marvel TCG or the capcom TCG...either way, I didn't enjoy it long.

thanks for the props on revenant wings Prev...  it is FF XII,  and yeah its pretty sweet!

Outcast,  which Super Robot Wars are you playing.  I just got the DS japanese game,  but well i can really read Japanese,  so i just putter around playing it.  (but i've also gotten surprisingly far in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann too, without reading Japanese)

Hmmm, haven't played advanced wars but Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings might be worth a look if its nothing like FF Tactics. :P  Yeah, i still have my doubts on card games.

I'm playing the gameboy advance version Super Robot Wars Original Generation 2. It's in English and it's ok. More previews and a nice song while your watching here. ^_^

:o Didn't realize there was already a new Super Robot Wars for the DS. Checked it out on the internet after you mentioned it. Super Robot Wars Taisen W !  Now that's what i am talking about! Gotta have that one! Must! I don't mind playing the Japanese versions too. I played them before. ^_^
