request for some origional skins

well, some time ago, i made a request for some skins for my Elemental Defenders team of superheros, and the request was filled nicely by Lunar-man. some time later, i began a rather laughable effort to develop a series of skins for a group of villains who were created to be the counterpoint and nemisis of the Defenders.. since then, i've lost the skins i had made, and to be honest, i'm not all that dissapointed.. they sucked.. however, i would like for the Elemental Defilers ((whoa, i just pulled that out my rear just now but it works!)) to see the light of day. if some enterpriseing skinner would care to take up the project, the Defilers are as follows. ((i'll add some hero machine concepts a little later tonight))

Obsidion: mesh: doomsday: Obsidion is the brutish, violent counterpoint to Earth. his strenth is equal to his foe, and the razor sharp shards protruding from his body give him an edge in damage dealing capability. however, he is slightly more brittle than his opponent. appearence: Obsidion's "skin" is the smooth, shiny black of his name sake. he wears an armored chest plate to offset his brittleness


obviously doesn't include the spikes from the mesh, more just a reference for the armor itself. the space at the knee should be more open between the top of the boots and the bottom of the thigh armor.

Oilslick: mesh: Clayface: Oilslick is the counterpoint to Water, slimey and slick, and downright nasty. he is difficult to damage, and hard to pin down. Appearence: Oilslick only vaughly resembles the man he once was, his entire form now oozes and flows, composed completly of thick, black crude oil. ((no hero machine for this one, he's just a walking mass of oil))

Smog: mesh: Male_basic_fx: Smog is the foul counterpoint to Air. he spews noxious fumes and can flow easily through any obstacle that is not completly air tight. appearance: Smog appears as a humanoid shaped cloud of noxious grey vapours. he sometimes wears a containment/battle suit to allow him better abilities in physical combat.


2 skins for this one, one of smog with his containment suit, one of him without. the containment suit version should have a smoky particle effect at his hands and head only, the non-suited version can use all the emmiters. also, on the chest of the suit should be a grill, like on a furnace door.

Uranium: mesh: female_bald_fx: counterpoint to Fire is the highly radioactive Uranium. her mere presence is damaging to most beings, and her attacks are deadly. appearance: composed of highly enriched uranium, her body glows with high radiation, producing a visible aura of radioactive leakage. like Smog, she also wears a containment suit, but for her, it is to help her focus and direct her dangerous, unstable powers.


energy type particle effect at hands and head only. the blue circle on her chest should have a rim around it, all the blue circles are basicly lights, and her exposed skin should have a similar glow and shine.

the armors are basicly just silvery steel, highlights on obsidion can be red, smog can show some corrosion around the neck and wrists, Uranium's highlights should be blue. thanks in advance to anyone who might take this up.

Somebody already skinned a black, oily creature on the clayface mesh. I can't seem to recall who though? Car, maybe? If anybody else knows...

i actually found that one the other day, it's called Tarbaby. good skin, but i'd rather have one of my own instead of borrowing and changing someone else's origional idea. also, Tarbaby has a uniform, and Oilslick was not intended to have any clothes, his form was to just be pure oil sludge.

that's closer. i guess i can use it as a place holder. Car's skins are some of my favorites, along with C6, UFB ((any one know where his stuff's gone?)) and a few others i can't think of off the top of my head ((sorry guys!))

let's bump this one more time, and see what happens.. is everyone just swamped with other projects, RT, or are the ideas just too bland? i'm not trying to be rude and i won't be offended by anyone's responce to these questions, just trying to get a feel for the situation, see if mabe i'd be better off letting this one go for a little while, try again in a month or two, eh?
