Sunken City Error

My sunken city map doesn't work for some reason - when I turn it on. my character's spawned, but can't move or anything. There also isn't any sound.  I downloaded it from FRPmods.com.

Edit: This is actually happening on all the maps from FRPmods.com for FF, so I'm guessing either I missed a step, or they're not working correctly. And fixed texture problem.

Yes, you definitely took a misstep.  If you detail your installation process here, others may be able to detect where you went astray.

I just unzipped the files and put each folder where I was told.  The ds_sunken_city went into the data/missions folder, and the textures in Data/Art/library/area_specific.  In the ds_sunken_city folder, i see mission.dat and mission.mg


Edit - I just tried a castle map I found on fxforce, i believe, and it seems i get spawned outside the castle.   Did i skip something?

It'll be hard for me to really help you since I don't have ff1 installed anymore, but some suggestion:

1. make sure your sound.ff folder is already extracted (as told in the instructions) and that you set up the sounds correctly (as detailed in the instructions).

2. Post your log files (check the game faq on this forum if you don't know how) and/or some pictures.

I seem to be spawned outside the map. Here are pics of other maps, but pretty much the same problem, to my knowledge.

EDIT: By glancing at the log, i infered that the problem was that I hadn't downloaded FFEdit for FF, since I had gotten FFvTR first, so I think the problem's solved.  Thanks though.
