[spoiler]Ok, so here is the situation, or what I can tell of it (least I hope I am not saying anything I shouldn't here):  Several months ago, I was involved with the production of a promotional pitch for a Reality TV show.  Back in January, we shot some more footage for the promotional piece and did a red carpet party for the thing.  Well, the odds are good that we were picked up by a cable network.  Being that I am not 100% sure that the announcement is official, I will not say more than that.[/spoiler]

However, I will say this: 
As of February 29th, I have been bouncing between the apartments and houses of several family and friends.  I let my lease go up with the intent of moving in with a friend and collaborator in a few weeks.  Well, that few weeks might wind up being a few months.  I am staying at the person's apt periodically and this person doesn't have internet (or TV/Cable/or a phone). So, I will not have much internet access and what I do have will be limited to my email and checking my messages on myspace. 

In addition to this forthcoming major project, I am trying to get work done on three other scripts.  One of them, I hope to have done and in production by the summer.  I want to enter it into the Atlanta Film Festival next year.  This means I will have even less time to piddle on the computer (which I love doing).  I've spoken with a few people here regarding helping with these projects and I will be in touch via email and messenger.

Anyways, if I should for some reason vanish for a while, it's because I've been caught up in the middle of all this mess and have not really come up for air.  I will try to post some updates or have someone do so.  If anyone is really curious, then you can email me.  my email address is gary at garyhamrick.com and I wrote it like that so I would not be spammed.

Ok, wanted to give you all an update:

The reality show is called "America's Top Bodyguard Competition". 

As of two weeks ago, my involvement in the project is up in the air.  To make a long story short, the guy who brought me on board the project misrepresented a few things to me.  I won't say "lied" but what was misrepresented was enough to make me trust him a little less than I did previously.  He doesn't even recall what he said initially and claims that he said what he is currently saying.  So it's basically my word against his.  No biggie.  Live and learn.  And besides, there are other things that has kinda made me want to trust him a little less as well.   Just wanted to check in and give an update with you guys as I know a few people were curious.

So, I am back to looking for work.  I may be doing some stuff for The Weather Channel, keep your fingers crossed, but I still need additional work.

Wasn't Mr. T discovered in a Bodyguard competition?  I'm sorry it's not working out well Mr. H.  I've gone through my share of "stuff" when dealing with Hollywood.
