talking about the one downloaded from alex freedom fortress, for converting meshes so they can be used on FFvsTR. The problem I have is it needs ".NET framework" to install, apparently telling me I dont have this when I try and run the installer.

it gives a link to the download, and when I tried installing that, an alert came up saying I already have it on my comp  :banghead:

So, can anyone confirm or deny that I am just screwed cuz I have vista? there is another NET framework file on the link that is about 300 MB, maybe I am suppose 2 download that one?

.NET should definitively be part of Vista's default install. However, EZ Nif might be looking specifically for the old 1.1 version, rather than the more recent version shipping with Vista (3.0?). I think you can have multiple versions of .NET installed concurrently. It's a bit surprising that the new versions don't already include the older ones. If you can't find a solution for this by searching the web (a very quick search was unsuccessful for me), I suggest you post in a .NET or Windows-related forum.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
