I have to say the models and gameplay look good.

Looking at how well they have done Catwoman, I just wish they went with a middle to low cast like; hawkwoman, cyborg, metamorpho, black canary, starfire, (on land) Aquaman       heroes in that level.

But I believe they will have a; if Sups wants to enter the tournament he has to do so as a (mortal) in the MK sense and give up a big portion of his power. (removed with magic)

Speaking of magic, the game's storyline apparently gives the MK characters powerful magical abilities, and magic goes past Superman's invulnerability.

The characters that wouldn't fit this game: Atom, Green Lanterns, Booster Gold, Firestorm, streaky and krypto, robin, batmite, jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, Talia Al ghul, Darkseid, Granny Goodness... let's see if any of them make it! *smiles...*

Why wouldn't a Green Lantern fit in? They are the universal army and if a Earth from another dimension is merging with Hals planet wouldn't he show up to fight?

As far as Captain Marvel goes he's a magic based character, just about all of MK is magic based.

Lastly I'm hoping Darkseid makes it in. He's one of the few boss type baddies that I would love to see from the DC side.

Anyways, most of the GLs aren't particularly *fighters* and their ring attacks would be pretty varied and pretty powerful. The GLs, in theory, would be way outside of the MK league and even some of the DC characters listed. It's one of the reasons he was left out of the very blah JL: TF game. Besides, even weakening GL wouldn't make him much of a better fighter and I don't think his ring would be any weaker in the outworld/netherworld dimension. So, yeah, the GLs don't suffer from the same weakening status as Superman and they're usually not weak to most magic based attacks. I can just see them as game breakers and Midway isn't the best company at balancing things as you can tell from most of their fighter games.

They could be game breakers but I would LOVE to see them in the game. Heck, if they can balance Supes and Cap Marvel then they could find a way to fit Hal in. ;)

Of course Hal is in there. Two definates Wonderwoman and Green Lantern. One, you cant have anything DC without the big three. If Batmans in and Supes is in, Wonderwoman is sure to follow. And two, with all the glowing powers of the Mortal Kombat combatants in the game, Hal's a shoe in!

I'm inclined to agree with Laughing Paradox for a rather cynical reason.  Consdiering the "vast racial mix" of Mortal Kombat characters, unless they bring Jax back, they'll probably go with John.
