Hehehe.. Yup, I'm definitly feeling that it's time for a Gremlins 3... If Indy and Ghostbusters are getting revived this year why not the green chaos machines next year...

That was pretty good.  A new one wouldn't be disappointing.....unless they tried to make it too serious.

I spoke about their return in a thread in the Other Games area.. but Columbia Pictures is 110% behind the upcoming Ghostbusters game being released this Fall. So much so they gave the designers/coders all access to their movie materials from blueprints to artwork to even props they had and then Dan Aykroyd/Harold Ramis came on as script developers to expand the game from being just a tribute to an actual sequel in later levels. The biggest news was that when it came to do character voice overs for the cinematics and in-game dialogue.. Dan & Ramis managed to talk EVERYONE (including Bill Murray and Sigourney Weaver who usually were impossible to schedule for a live action sequel) into returning for booth time just for this game. Dan stated in a recent interview that this game will be considered the 3rd part in the franchise and a possible computer animated direct-to-DVD movie might be possible if schedules work out.

I didn't know that about the possibility of an animated movie.......the game is cool enough, but that is just AWESOME!
