   In a world where Lex Luthor has become President of the United States, heroes have become outlawed, and super powered criminals have become the country's law enforcement. The heroes of America have gone underground, now treated as villains by the government. President Luthor has allowed crime to increase exponentially, with normal citizens living in fear and poverty.
   It is now five years later, President Luthor has refused to allow an election to take place as long as he is in power. An imprisoned Justice Society is facing execution. Their only hope is the Freedom Initiative of America. The FIA has been striking with hit and run tactics against the government, helping the American citizens acquire food, shelter and hope.
   But now, it is time for the FIA to go public with their existance. They have no choice, the Justice Society's public execution must be stopped.

Iv'e been working on this idea on and off for a while, I know I'm not a very good skinner, but I like these guys and just wanted to share the idea.

Nice redesigns, I especially like the colours on Batman.
Any chance Luthor made his own "justice league" filled withy his criminal cronies? i figure he must have some serious backers to keep a guy like Superman underground.
I drew a comic about a similar idea when i was in highschool, and the bot I myself had trouble believing was that Superman and Batman would ever have to go "underground". if Luthor stopped playing by the rules, Bats or Kal would have him in prison in minutes.
Have you got a Wonder Woman redesign in the works, and would you object to another skinner remaking these skins for your skopes?

I have updated the Flash, basically I didn't like my first one, and I want to be able to use the skope with a regular Flash skin.



   Car, I would love to see other skinners' versions of these guys. Also, I do have a plan for Luthor's Ellite. It starts with a large group of super villains, with his personal bodyguard being Deathstroke. But before a hero can even get close to Luthor's WHite House, he or she would have to get past an army of Amazo Androids, followed by Luthor's mercanary army.
   As for Superman or Batman stepping in at the onset, I imagined Luthor making changes slowly and quietly,forcing other politicians to back him, either through bribery, blackmail, or threats, not publicizing his changes until it was too late. With laws already in place, the Justice League would have engaged in treason if they attacked Luthor publicly. American citizens would not know that Luthor was doing anything wrong, until he had already completely taken over.
   Of course, this is still a work in process. And it needs alot more work.

Maybe you could get one of the justice leaguers on the inside, you know like a mole. Like batman did in Kingdom Come. So, who would do it? I guess Martian Man Hunter has that whole shape shifting thing going for him. And maybe in desperation, villains have decided to "join" JLA because if they can't hold the oval office what says Lex Luthor is can? And just an idea, but, what if you made this cross universal.  Yeah, meaning marvel. Could be interesting or it could get crowded all depends on how it goes down i guess, but anyway can't wait to get my hands on these and hope a mod is in the future :thumbup:!!!

   Sorry Car, I should have specified that the meshes used for these were in my yahoo group. :oops:. There are still a few that I haven't added though.
   As for putting a mod together based on this storyline, I am clueless as even where to begin. I have no modding skills whatsoever. If anyone else wants to do it, that would be awesome, but I just don't know how.
   For an inside man, anyone could be bribed by Bruce Wayne/Batman, as occured in the Justice League Animated series. Otherwise, I haven't given that aspect much thought. I do like the idea though.
   Wonder Woman and other heroes are planned, there is such a wide variety of characters to  work with from DC, it's just a matter of getting them done.
   Doc, unfortunately, Marvel has never been a big interest for me, other than Captain America and a few others, so unfortunately, I won't be re-designing them.

That's cool, like i said just an idea. I am really excited about these. I had a similar redesign idea, basically, "What would the JLA look like if they were digitized into the Tron world?" Might i add, Love the redesign on aquaman, gives him some dignity.

   Unfortunately, not yet. I'm still working on the skope as well as the standard skin for it.

   Luthor's Hero Killers. Cloned from Deathstroke, these Assassins will be sent to Hunt and Kill any Hero that hasn't yet surrendered to Luthor's government. Traveling in squads of three, they are basically "Hit and Run" killers. They strike, kill, and run before anyone knows what happenend.

I think it would make more sense for 'underground' Ollie to have a hood to cover his face when he needs it rather than the Robin Hood like hat.

   I put the FIA on hold for a little bit, only because I want to re-skin a few of them. But in the meantime, this is a Superman-type character called "The Undefeated". Created in a lab, this prototype hero was introduced to the American populace as 'the hero of the next generation' but went rogue after becoming tired of being the government's go-fer. Realizing the level of power that he has, the undefeated has decided that he should be running the country. He is now recruiting others to join him in his venture.

   I decided that I wanted some extra Nazis to beat up on in the rumble room. This was the reult. I know that they're not that great as far as skins go, but I am proud of myself for how they turned out.

I think you could fix them up pretty easy, though, if you wanted. Start off simple. Add some shading to the logos, the belt, the shield. Brighten highlights a bit. It wouldn't be so tough. I could go into it further if you want.

   Unko, I would defenitley like to improve the shield, if nothing else. So any advice you would there would be great.

That's a Ren Cap, right? If so, then I assume it came with a C6 base. There's the ground work. Open up his tga and take a good hard look at it. Notice where he puts highlights and shadows. See, flat colours always look "cheap," to turn a phrase. If you want something to look better you need some sort of definition. Now, I'm not saying just trace over somebody else's (although for practice it can really help), but look at what they did and try to do something similar. After you get comfortable you will no longer need this, and you'll be tossing in your own style too, but for now stick to trying to follow other people's guidelines.

Now, to do this, I would make a layer for highlights and a layer for shadows. I would use a much lighter and darker versions of the base colour. I may change the tonal difference somewhat, too. Then just paint some areas on, and get a good blur on it so they blend.

Since it's a shield, also look into doing something on the refl layer. It could be as simple as making a small, medium grey circle where the shield should be, thus just setting it to overall reflect. Then, select a good metal lightmap, if you are uncomfortable making your own.

Geez, I hope this all makes sense, and more importantly helps you out. You can use the same basic principal for the logos, belts, and then add some highlights, too. Just remember... No flat colours! Even the animated look I've been toying with isn't flat. This is the key.

   Unfortunately, I had to re-install  :ffvstr: a while ago. I lost nearly all of my custom stuff. So unless I find the initiative to re-skin everything (which doesn't look good), I don't see these as getting released. I guess that will teach me to experiment with the FFeditor. Sorry for having only bad news to share with you.

Well, here is an idea, again just an idea, but if you gave permission and if another skinner(Not me, i can't do any of this :wacko:) is interested, perhaps somone could reskin these for you? Ofcorse i understand that they are your ideas were talking about, (so say no by all means) but it is just a shame that this will all be for not.

I think that we've all been there, the only variation is how much work we lose.
Every time circumstance makes me re-make something, I do it better.
So, perhaps some of these could get re-done, as and when you feel like it, and in the longer run, we may see them anyway.
If you don't, you don't, but I hope this wont stop you making stuff altogether.

   Thanks for all the sentiments. Since this happened, I haven't had the drive to do anything FF related, but that can't totally be blamed on this, the outside life is to blame also. If anyone else wants to run with this concept, or improve on it, they are more than welcome. I would be absolutely happy to see alternate versions of the DC Universe characters.

   But this was my own stupidity, I should have burned the files to a disk like I have with my other stuff.  I had wanted to have a full disk instead of just a partial one. Live and learn, I guess.
