Commencement - the fiction writing challenge!

my thanks to uncle yuan for inviting me to be a judge and no worries about not announcing me, we can all forget minor details in the crush of real life, and to the writers for submitting great entries. this is the first time i've participated as a judge in this sort of contest, and i feel that it gave me some experience to apply to critiuqeing my own work a bit better.

congrats to GG and Viking, and heck, congrats to everyone who participated, contests like this inspire creativity, and that's what we need if humanity is to continue to thrive.

and ow, i'm confused.. where does the "lady" come from? :huh: :rolleyes:

Congrats to the winners.  I was too worried to make a good showing in my entry.  My accomplishment was getting it "done."  I'll do better next contest.  I will even post a contest in the near future.
